Best Spa in South Tampa 1/29/2006

This charming spa, nestled in the heart of south Tampa, is the best bet for your money. Their prices are affordable compared to the other spas in that area and the interiors, with its terra cotta tile floors and are warm yellow walls, are cozy and inviting (think cute bungalow). Pia has always remembered me and details about my life which was a nice surprise! She and her staff are so knowledgeable about skin care, waxing, etc. You will not be dissappointed!! For my first time with a brazilian wax the salon made me feel very comfotable and a great experience. I used to work at a very upscale salon in another city and this was a much better atmosphere. The staff was honest and friendly. more

What can I say about Pia? She is the best waxing technition I ever had! You will fall in love with her cheerful upbeat personality. She is very quick and efficient. Her location is filled with lovely scented candles which will entice all of your senses. The soft music relaxes the mind and creates a soothing environment. Horrible! 7/5/2005

I have lived in Tampa for almost 8 years now and I had never heard of Pia's. My friend gave me a spa day as a birthday gift or I would not have gone. Now I know why I have never heard of it before, the staff was a little bit on the rude side and my esthician talked through the entire facial. I asked the massage therapist to reduce the pressure and she continued to just beat on me. And not to mention that I arrived early as requested and they were running almost 30 minutes behind. I will continue to go to my regular day spa dowb the road from Pia's! Pros: pretty Cons: bad parking, rude staff more

THE BEST DAY SPA EVER 5/10/2005

I have gone to Pia for almost 4 years and was thrilled when she opened her own shop. She is the best waxer you will ever encounter- plus she gives a great facial. But it is her spirit that shines everywhere in the spa. Everything is warm and cheerful. It is such a retreat in the bustle of the everyday. And the greatest part...you will not find better prices in the Tampa Bay area. more

Isn't it so hard to find a spa that makes you feel relaxed the minute you walk in the door? At Pia's you will not feel intimidated while you wait - all of her clients and staff are just like her......full of sunshine! Pia has a talent for waxing, a personality that makes you not want to leave and has created an atmosphere that screams "Relax, everything's going to be just fine!!" Would not trade it for the world 4/17/2005

I found Pia online when I just moved to the area, and have been going for waxes and facials every month ever since. Even when I moved again, I don't mind traveling 45 minutes to my appointments. Pia makes you feel very comfortable and the atmosphere is great. I highly recommend this spa. Pros: Great services Cons: Small Parking area more
