Pia's Waxing Studio...the best place for waxing 10/6/2011

The estheticians at Pia's Waxing Studio in St. Pete are the best in the area! I tried different places for waxing until I discovered the Pia diffference. Regardless of which Pia's location you go to, and I have been to two of their four locations (South Tampa and St. Pete), or which esthetician you see (Pia, Nayla, Ashley, Ana) you are guaranteed to receive the best service. The friendly and professional service will keep you coming back. The St. Pete location just recently expanded and they added more services to their menu more

Best waxing in Tampa 11/18/2010

I have been going to Pia's for about 6 yrs now. They have amazing customer service and are extremely professional. I have never had a bad experience there. Pia will take of any concerns that one does have. She is genuine just like her staff. Gina and Megan are my two fave receptionist they are so kind and understanding. Its clean they do not double dip like some places. Try this place out, you will not be sorry. more

First time waxing was pain free!! A forever client! 4/1/2010

I'm not a tiny girl by any means and everyone from the receptionist to the person who performed my services were EXTREMELY professional and courteous. They were out of the "no scream cream" and they allowed me to use a sample bottle.. Pros: Professionalism, Fast Service, Awesome Staff Cons: Can't think of any! more

Cute spa, excellent service 11/4/2009

After seeing all the reviews, I called for a same-day evening appointment (and actually got one). The spa itself is beautiful, with hardwood floors, soothing greens, calming music, and the smell was instantly relaxing. Pros: Beautiful, calming environment; great appointment more

Best waxers ever! 10/7/2009

Ive been going to Pia for almost a year, and their staff is amazing! I go ONLY for their Bare Wax Treatment, and it is amazing! They are fast, and so friendly. They make the visit relaxing and stress free. I have been a customer of Nyla and Michelle, and both are awsome! Totally recommend first time waxers to go to PIA!! Pros: Best waxers! more

I went into Pia's yesterday for an eyebrow wax and completely bare bikini wax and Ericca did such an amazing job. She was fast, friendly, and listened to what I asked for. I would recommend her 100 times over to anyone looking for a wax in Tampa. The only con is how hard it is to get an appointment there simply because they hardly answer the phone, at least when I call. I don't have a lot of time to repeatedly call a place so it took me a few days calling 1-2 times a day, during their operating hours, until someone answered the phone and took my appointment down. Still worth it for a great wax! Pros: Professional, quick, not as painful as others Cons: Never answer phone at front desk more

I love PIa! 10/27/2008

I went to Pia because of their waxing services. I have been going for almost 2 years for bikini wax. I have sensitive skin and the ladies are very friendly and helpful for me to get waxing done. The prices for waxing are on their site and very reasonable for a bikini wax - 40.00. I like that it's a very nice atmosphere and they make you feel 100% welcome. more

The absolute BEST. Showed up on wrong day. Made room for me. Saw Michelle. She's professional, friendly, and made the whole experience wonderful. I've had a bikini wax before, but Michelle made my first BRAZILIAN painless. GO TO PIA'S, NOW!!!!!! Pros: Very clean, warm, and friendly atmosphere. more

First Time Waxer 6/25/2008

Today was my first time waxing. I loved it. Ericca was awesome. She made me feel comfortable and was super nice. She was very fast and informative. The wax itself was not as painful as I thought. It hurt more the further in she went. I had read the reviews on here before I made an appoitment, and believe every word of it. Pia is the best in town. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Pros: Best place Cons: The parking lot needs some work, It is very bumpy. more

Superior 5/12/2008

I've been going to Pia for about two years now and still never run out of nice things to say. I recently moved from South Tampa to St. Petersburg and still make the drive because you just can't beat the service anywhere. Despite the many many clients they all must see daily, the estheticians I've seen always remember even the minute details about my life, etc. making you feel welcome and way more comfortable during things like a bikini wax. Their pumpkin facial is also to die for! more

Best Waxers in Tampa! 4/21/2008

Pia's is the best! I started going here 3 years ago and have never looked for another wax place. I love them because they are quick and very detailed. If my appt's at 1pm, then at 1pm they take me back. And a big plus is that they make sure every hair is gone, which I love because if I'm paying to get a wax, I dont want to go home and finish the job myself. Definately the best in Tampa! more

Great place to wax 4/5/2008

I have been going to Pia's for about six months for waxing (brazilian) and eyebrow shaping and every time I am impressed withe their services. Every person I have seen there has been very well-trained and efficient, keeping my time doing "maintenance" to a minimum ;-). The facilities are cozy and it is conveniently located just off the east-west expressway. Pros: waxing couldn't be easier or faster or better done Cons: none I can think of more

Best Waxing experience in the Tampa Bay area 3/26/2008

I'm always skeptical about seeking out a new location for waxing. However, after recently moving to the area I have been exceptionally pleased with the services at Pia's salon. The staff is very cordial and professional, and the salon is welcoming, and clean. Both the eyebrow waxing and brazilian waxing was fantastic; very quick, and discreet. Great Eyelashes 3/25/2008

I have been going to Pia's for over a year from North Tampa for the eyelash extensions. They are wonderful!!! They look so natural and I love not having to wear mascara all the time. No one knows that they are extensions. All I hear is that I have "beautiful eyes". I have also had the microderm several times and love that as well. I know that I will continue to go back time and time again to Pia's for excellent products and service. Pros: Service Cons: Parking lot; needs to be smoothed out a bit. more

Best Brazilian EVER!!!! 3/24/2008

I have been to many of the spas in the Tampa Bay area, and Pia Esthetics surpasses all of them on many levels. Their staff is highly trained-- so much that I do not have a favorite waxer per se. They all do a wonderful job, and more importantly, they are all sweet, personable, and they all put you at ease. I have sent 2 friends there for their first Brazilian waxes and they have both LOVED the results and have decided to continue the service and go back every 4 weeks. The pedicures are awesome and the atmosphere is so convivial that you end up not wanting to leave. You can easily make friends with the staff, who also go out of their way to accommodate you, your friends, your needs, whatever. Every time I go to Pia, I am newly surprised by the service. DON'T GO ANYWHERE ELSE!!!! more

Best waxing in town! 3/19/2008

I drive from Pinellas county over to South Tampa once/6 weeks simply to go to Pia Esthetics. The estheticians are extremely professional and make you feel comfortable as soon as you walk in the door. I get both eye-brow waxing and a Brazilian wax every 5 - 6 weeks and would not go anywhere else. They do a great job while making the treatment as quick and painless as possible. I highly recommend Pia Esthetics to all! more
