Fresh, Local Pizza - Local and Seasonal Ingredients 8/10/2008

Pretty off base review below - not liking Pagliacci Pizza for whatever reason is fine - but they actually use some of the freshest, locally sourced ingredients in the industry. This weekend we had the seasonal roma tomato and basil pizza - amazing. And the reason people LOVE Pagliaccis - and the reason Pagliacci Pizza received the Life Time Achievement Award for best pizza in Seattle by the Seattle Weekly this last week (Aug '08) - best crust in the industry (Seattle) best sauce and local, fresh, seasonal ingredients. Pagliacci Rules! Pros: ingredients, green iniatives, pizza pizza pizza Cons: they need a location in leschi / mt. baker more

BEST PIZZA! 2/29/2008

My boyfriend and I went here on your last day in Seattle. It was well worth it and we are definitely coming back the next time we are in town. I guess the staff could tell we were out of towners because we looked confused, but they were great. I liked the fact that there has variety on there menu. There was a lot to choose from and they also serve pasta. They also sell by the slice if you are on the go. I would have to say thank you to the delivery guy we saw at our hotel and the person who orded the pizza. We would not know this place existed if it weren't for them. Pros: Excellent Pizza! Variety Cons: Parking more

Super thin crust! 12/14/2006

I love Pagliacci's. If you love thin crust this is the best I've had. Have them stretch the 13"" crust to 17"" for an even thinner pizza. They have some really good fresh ingredients and I really like the pies with the olive oil base. My favorite, the Parma Primo, goat cheese, prosciutto, fresh basil, yum! Pros: Excellant crust and toppings Cons: Delivery can be a bit slow more

Best gourmet Pizza in Seattle 11/18/2006

My mom and I were at a hotel and wanted pizza...in Seattle. Hard to find good gourmet pizza, but there's was great. Highly recommended and somewhat affordable. Very tasty. Pros: Delivery Cons: ??? more

Nice gourmet toppings, nice open-air atmosphere 6/26/2006

When there pretty late on a weekday (9PM). Had a pre-made pizza by the slice (good low-cost option for a single diner) - it had spiced chicken, sun-dried tomatoes, mozzerela, and feta. Pretty good. Nice atmosphere: you can watch folks in the back hand-tossing the pizza, and the windows were all open. Even sitting inside, I could people watch folks going by on Queen Anne Ave. Pros: gourmet pizza toppings, casual people watching ambience Cons: no parking more

Disappointing 6/15/2006

This is just another pizza restaurant. This one happens to be clean and is located in a busy neighborhood. Make sure you bring your wallet because you won't get anything here for pocket change. Sauce is average and toppings are scarce. You will not exceed your dairy limit with this pie. Pros: Prompt service Cons: No parking more

Boring 4/26/2006

I've eaten excellent pizza in New York. While Pagliacci manages to get the overall shape correct, the resemlance to New York-style pizza ends there. Pagliacci's tomato sauce is breathtakingly bland. Many times I have taken a bite of Pagliacci pizza, only to find myself examinging the piece in my hand to see if there was any tomato sauce at all. In the end, the Pagliacci pizza experience is a disappointing mystery; all the ingredients should be there for an outstanding pizza but at their best, they rarely manage to eke out mediocrity. The only bigger mystery is how they acquired a good reputation. Pros: salad, phone operators Cons: tomato sauce more

Love their Pizza! 12/19/2005

Great tasting Za! I wish they were a bit more generous with their topings though. Check out their seasonal specials. Pros: Food more

Pagliacci's 9/7/2003

I would recommend the pizza to everyone. It is good, filling and not a bad price. Next time, will try some of their other specialties as they looked great. The staff are cool too. Pros: Pizza, Toppings, Service more

Just plain good 3/18/2003

A complete meal in one slice. I mean, what more could one ask? You've got your cheese, bread, sauce, and many meats and veggies to choose from. The best Pizza in Seattle! Pros: Price, Freshness, Selection more

Cheese & Pagliaccio - done 2/4/2003

Don't listen to any of the haters posting about slices too small and too expensive. Get cheese pizza, load it up with red peppers, parmasean, herbs and a little oil and vinegar, and complete the meal with a pagliaccio salad and you've got a combo you can't beat. It's the best thin crust pizza in Seattle hands down. You want heavy pizza hit Northlake Tavern. Pags is so good. Pros: unbeatable pizza, salads HIT, delivery Cons: whole pizzas can be $, delivery can take, too long sometimes more

Love at first bite! 1/3/2003

I'm away at college, but every time my brother comes to visit, he bring me a pag pizza! I remember walking in and gawking at the prices, but once i took the first bite, it was well worth the money. whole roasted garlic cloves and goat cheese??? who knew! try the chicken primo, it is just awesome! and everyone that works there is very nice and smiley, but not red-robin over-kill smiley, they are real. Pros: yum, yum, try the salads! Cons: parking can be a pain more

new yorker loves this stuff 12/27/2002

spent years living in little italy in nyc and guess what? this is how they make pizza! with the thin crust, that is. (deep dish is chicago-style). some of pagliacci's seasonal specials are wacky (like the pear primo) or just not that good (the mushroom primo) but their every day pizzas are perfect. good flavor, fresh ingredients, not too much cheese. you can't ask for much more than that. more

Pizza Bella! 11/20/2002

This is without a doubt some of the best gourmet pizza known to man! The service is excellent-even delivery guys are awesome. The seasonal specials should not be missed! 2 thumbs up! more

Best Pizza Ever 10/2/2002

I think this is the best thin-crust pizza in the U.S. I'm not kidding. I've had thin-crust pizza all over, and even my New Yorker friend was impressed with it. I still compare all thin crust pizzas I try to the ones I've eated at Pagliacci. Pros: great pizza more

The Last Man Standing 8/15/2002

With the lamentable demise of Guidos on Greenlake, Pagliacci is left as one of the few worth-while places to get a more New-York Style Pizza in Seattle. more

Quick and Good Eats 6/28/2002

Pagliacci Pizza is a really good pizza place if you looking for some cheap eats and you can't make up your mind what you want. The pizza is a ""middle-of-the-road"" style, not thick, pan style but not thin and crispy. The toppings are adequate and not so much that their falling of the pizza and you can't eat it with your hands. The salads are surprisingly good and a little different from your typical garden salad. The bread sticks are pretty good but also pretty average. Pros: Good Prices, Filling Cons: Average portions, Average place more
