Outback Houston Copperfield

I dined with my family at this Outback on a Sunday evening. Service was ok. We had to wait a bit longer than we should have between our appetizers and our entrees. The quality of the food is the problem here. A sirloin/crab cake combo had to be sent back because the steak was ordered medium rare, but was delivered well done. The lamb had to be sent back because it was ordered medium rare and was delivered well done. The filet/shrimp scampi combo is advertised on the menu as consisting of slices of filet with large, succulent shrimp. Those were the sorriest excuses for shrimp I have ever seen - 3 very thin slices of filet and 3 tiny shrimp - and we paid $14.99 for this dish. I will not go back to this restaurant and I will not recommend it to any of my friends. Very disappointing! more

Yeah, bloomin' onion was good. The chocolate brownie sundae could have been made better with a Ho-ho and Blue Bell vanilla ice cream. The salmon was kind of tough and had no flavor at all. The vegetables served with were definitely from Costco's freezer section. I saw it the other day lol Really great service from college-age kids. But save your money, because good service is found throughout Houston. Flavor, not always. more

Horrible horrible service. I have been here several times and had at least 4 different servers who were ALL equally horrible. They disappear for 15 minutes at a time... literally cannot be seen! And when you need something, you have to ask for it and wait another 10 minutes. Do not go here if the quality service is important to you. You can still come hungry, but you won't leave happy! the prices were so-so the service was good though the food was kinda bland i had an outback special steak and i didnt taste anything special about it my husband got a chicken and fettucinni dish which turned out to be very spicy even though it didnt say so on the menu and we had an appetizer of cheese fries which was the best part of the whole meal thier house salad had only hard yellow lettuce way to much cheese the tomatoes were to big it just was not a good time Pros: alright service Cons: no spicy warning, bad salad, expensive more
