What a gem 6/26/2008

Don't know why this place does not come up when I search for vintage. Just moved out here and I popped in on a whim on my way to lunch and discovered a gem. To add even more joy to my day it seems a collection of vintage pieces had just come in and it was all mine to choose from. I won't say how much I spent but it was all worth it. The picture in this listing is old. The place I went to was fresh, cool and had an amazing european feel. Everyone shopping seemed to say the same thing. This addition will make my time in LA a lot more fun. I still have to dive in to the new lines they carry. Sales staff was friendly and helpful. Pros: atmosphere, clothing selection more

I Love Oou 1/25/2008

Some of my best pieces have been from this store. The vintage is amazing. The lines are fresh and I love the manager. He always gives the most honest advice, even if it means not buying something cause it looks not so hot on me. This store is fun to shop in , especially during their annual holiday party... more

Big Attitude and Expensive Clothes 7/6/2007

I can't get passed the attitude here. One time I had a nice salesperson, but every other time (including today) the staff has been snooty and even bossy. Today the guy was sitting on the couch (the place where YOU'RE supposed to sit if you need to rest). I thought he was waiting for someone because he looked bored and tired, but no, he worked there. He looked at me and said, ""You want to try that on? Well, hang it there."" Uh, HELLO? Why don't you get off your butt and hang it, dude? Anyways, aside from the bad attitude, the clothes are pricy and not anything spectacular. more

i love it 5/9/2007

i love oou and also they have a 7 day rule of returning the products. so tough luck if want to reurn something if they told u about the rule. My aunt owns the store and i sometimes work there as well. they have things that u wont find anywhere else in LA so for some it might be to much but where else would u see someone else where that in LA. if it didnt go your way sry like the women and her jacket, the employee told her husband about the 7 day return thing so if he forgets to tell u well thats lame. Pros: best more

Oou - Poor Customer Service and Poor Quality 3/12/2006

I dont recommend Oou because they dont make good on defective merchandise. During the holidays, my husband purchased a black down jacket (by Kenzie) for me at Oou. It looked great but had a manufacturing flaw. The interior lining was porous and hundreds of tiny down feathers seeped through the lining to cover whatever I wore beneath the jacket. After a little over two weeks I attempted to return the jacket. The sales person couldn't arrange for a refund or an exchange. After a number of phone calls with the store's VP (they wouldn't let me speak with the owner) I was told they wouldn't refund our credit card despite the flaw in the jacket. They offered me another jacket which they said wouldn't have the problem, but it did. In trying to resolve this problem, I experienced the rudest customer service I've ever encountered (from the store's VP). Pros: Good Design Cons: Poor Quality, Poor Service, Rude Management more
