The other reviews must have been written by friends and employees. These people are terribly rude. I was the only customer in the store but was never greeted. The owner and an employee were talking with each other and simply didn't have time for me. Finally, after I had made my way through 2 racks of clothing, the employee said ""why are you looking there? That isn't your size. The mediums are over there."" First, how about ""hello""? Secondly, I'm a size 4 so the mediums would be a bit roomy on me. Then the owner asked if there was something I was looking for. I described a gown that had been in the window a couple of weeks earlier and was told that it was gone. That wasn't enough for our cheery hostess, though. She waited a minute and then said ""You should know that it was $1200 anyway."" This was my first and last visit to this store. There are too many great shopping alternatives in Chicago to have to tolerate this attitude. I walked down to Niemans, was treated very nicely, and found some nice things. Oh yes, I spent more than $1200 at Niemans.
Pros: Location, Ambience
Cons: Awful service, nasty attitude
