I'm a full time student who works as a hairdresser 37 hours a week. Literally I get physically and mentally exhausted almost all the time, specially by the end of the month. I constantly travel for business. I was recommended Vilma at Norris (by the hotel staff where I stayed). This was my first visit to Norris. I was blown away by the relaxing and refreshing facial Vilma gave me. I was stressed and she was able to relieve that and much more. I was impressed by her and sincerely enjoyed every minute of the facial. I will definitely come back to see Vilma every time I'm in Houston! more

Kimberly is the hair stylest I use at Norris of Houston. I have recently switched to her after using my previous hair dresser for over 10 years. Kim knows exaclty what I want and always goes over and beyond to make me happy. She is very friendly and spends extra time working with your color and style that best suits you. The receptionists usually greet me quickly upon entering, and I am sometimes offered a drink (I know they have water and wine available, not sure what else) even if they don't offer, if I ask for one, they usually respond with a smile and say "of course" I recently have had a few massages with Glow. (Short for Gloria?) She has great energy about her--very animated, and yet, I was still able to relax (actually I think I fell asleep). When I had my second massage she asked if there were any ways the first could have been improved, and after I shared that I wished she'd spent a little more time on my neck previously, she had me begin lying face-up and took extra time there. I like that she listened then, and she adjusted the pressure without question whenever I asked. The room is nicely decorated, she uses hot towels in her treatments, and instead of oil--it was a cream, so it left my skin feeling soft, but not overly slippery or greasy like some other massages. It's also nice that it's located right next door to Maggiano's (a fantastic idea for lunch or dinner after treatments) and excellent shopping in strips near by or across Westheimer in the Galleria--very convenient. Then i sat down for a few minutes to tell Kimberly what happened and why i was searching for a new hairstylist. She looked at my hair and knew exactly what to do to help me with my messed up haircut. On my next visit i got haircolor and highlights, i was a little nervous about her matching the color, but she matched it perfectly and made it better than it has ever been. Finally! I found a hair stylist who is able to advise me on what haircut would be best for my face shape. Sy's execution (for cut and color) was flawless. His friendly manner made him the complete package. more

I went to Norris today to get a makeup lesson with Donna. She took time with me showing me techniques on one half of my face and then allowed me to try it on the other half. When I needed help or made mistakes, she coached me along. She is truly not only a fabulous makeup artist, she is a great teacher, which is just what I needed. My makeup looks beautiful and I have never been able to find a lipstick I loved; she immediately chose one that looked fabulous! I then got my hair cut by Sy. My hair looked amazing. Sy told me what to do to make it look the same at home, but I waited to reserve judgment on it until I styled it myself because I have found out many times that I can never get it to look the same as they do in the salon. I styled it this morning, and it looks awesome - just like it did yesterday. Sy, you are a genius. I am a super satisfied customer!!! I have been seeing Claudia for about 5 years now, and I won't go anywhere else. I have naturally curly hair, and she knows just how to work with it. Sometimes I know what I want when I come in, and she does just what I ask. Other times, she'll make a suggestion. Either way, my hair looks great when I leave.
