Tiny place 8/19/2005

I took a hip hop dance class here in the spring and had the best time! The teacher was fantastic - she introduced us to fun, hip music and went slow enough for us to catch on. She really made the class fun too - she was wacky and didn't put pressure on people to be perfect. She emphasized that it was about figuring out our own style instead of just trying to imitate hers. Great fun! It's also pretty cheap. The only big negative is that they usually allow more people to sign up for a class than they really have space for. The studio is tiny and fairly dirty. more

Many great classes 8/13/2005

Ninth Street Dance is a great place to start dancing, or continue your training. It is mainly oriented towards new students, and those who dance for fun. Professional dancers can be found in some of the classes, however they come and go. The teachers are fun and classes can be rather large at times. The studio is small, but everyone always seems to fit. A great place for dancing! more
