I've been a Wasp Automotive customer for the past few years. There have been times when they didn't even charge me or my husband for a look or some advice on our cars. They do not overcharge, and you can tell it's a good place because the employees have been there so long and are experienced. The shop is located off Hwy 55 a little south of the intersection with Hwy. 54, behind Papa John's Pizza. I highly recommend this place!

I had the unfortunate experience of having a tree fall on my 2006 Infiniti, while I was driving it!
The tree took out the front-end, Passenger side front quarter, the sunroof and roof.
The team at Triangle did a wonderful job at reconstructing my car so that it looks like new again.
There have been a few minor issues after the repair that they were willing to take care of right away even without an appointment. I cannot "heap" enough praise on the folks at Triangle Auto Body in Durham for the work they did for me on my car.
Pros: professionalism, expertise in their field
Cons: inconvenience (mine) in having to take it to them in the first place!

Reading past reviews of this dealer i understand the vast difference in opinion. As a dealer myself for 29 years ive seen it all. I,ve been the salesman and i,ve been the guy in the back giving the prices and if either of the two r crooks...youll have a bad experience. And many times its not that they are crooks...just sloppy business people. Either way, in the case of THIS dealer i know that if a person is NOT satisfied with their experience that if given the opportunity, management will bend over backwards to be fair. But you must make your concerns known to those in charge. And they do TRY to hire good people...not always a perfect science.

This is the place to go for any and all things Volvo. Becker Automotive is a locally owned and operated, independent volvo repair shop that has been solving problems for decades. Their honesty and dedication make car repair a breeze. They are the most experienced volvo technicians around and don't try to oversell you on things you don't need. They are straight to the point and can fix almost any problem and find almost any part no matter what the model. I have had multiple volvos serviced there and have never heard someone who was unsatisfied with their service.

My brakes weren't working like they used to and it was hard to slow down so I would try to drive slower just in case, until it got to the point where it barely worked. So I knew I needed to get it fixed, but I did not have the cash to do that. But my insurance company worked with me to help me out and I got my brakes fixed finally and I think they work pretty well.

I started going to Swedish Imports when they were still in Northeast Durham - back about 1976 or so, and continued until I moved (although I did stop in and had my car serviced a few times when I was passing thru NC on my way to Chapel Hill from the Washington DC area. It is unfortunate that I now live in the Atlanta area, because having owned 4 Volvos since moving away from Chapel Hill, I really miss the service and personal attention that I received on my Volvo back when I lived in Chapel Hill and had it serviced by Jim and his staff at Swedish Imports. They have been in the same location on 15-501 for more than 30 years and you won't go wrong by having your car serviced here!

While I loved my Volvo, I hated the high costs of regular maintanence and repairs at the dealership. My neighbor told me about Becker Automotive and boy, was I pleased. The repairmen here specialize in Volvo repair and charged a fraction of the money I'd been spending. Their work was professional and completed when promised. I highly recommend Becker Automotive.

This dealer, like most VW dealers I have dealt with are out to rip you off especially if you are a woman. I don't even know where to begin to list all of their flaws. Everytime I bring my car in for a required checkup, they find at least $500 worth of stuff wrong with it. Sometimes I take my car elsewhere to get a second opinion and get a totally different response. I made the huge mistake of having my car inspected when I moved to NC and in order to register my car and pass inspection it cost almost $1200 to fix things they claimed were broken. When owning a VW it is very hard to stay away from the dealer as everything must be performed by a certified VW dealer using VW parts, but if your car is out of warranty and you can stay away I recommend it. Also try and always bring a man with you, as they seem less likely to try and overcharge and rip you off when you have one tag along.

Southern States has some awesome people there. All of there Techs are seasoned and definitely know what they are doing. Sam the service manager is a nice guy and helped me with two recalls I had on my 07 Jetta. The car is great and is by far the most fun to drive car I have ever owned!.. When I bought they were patient with me as I tried to figure out actually how to go about buying a new car. I was impressed by the knowledge I was given. A salesperson at another dealer must have been new but he didn't really answer any of my questions. I would definitely suggest checking these guys out if you are at all interested in buying a new or even used Volkswagen. services aren't cheap but I knew that buying a German made car.

Have been buying from Dashboard since my first car. Continued my relationship by doing my home theatre with their Paradigm line, and I couldn't be happier. I have been pleasantly surprised by every visit I make to their store and would highly recommend Dashboard to anyone and everyone.
