If you have a random day off and you're looking for something cool to do, why not check out some museums. I love the Museum of Life and Science because it's fun for families but also for a random date. Also there is a beautiful butterfly garden which is so much fun to walk through.

It is a great campus that shows the financial strength of the university. The buildings, even the newer buildings, do not have the build quick, sacrifice look, quiality of some other universities.
I find the Duke gardens and the Chapel always a nice place ti visit during the summer. For out of towners, it may also be interesting to visit the campus during basketball season and walk by the tent city. Of all the university campuses I have been, this dedication to Basketball is unique.
The quality of Duke education may be pricey, but worth the money. Lots of financial aid available and Duke is actively recruiting low and middle income students to attend.

My husband and I recently toured several private schools in this area looking for a quality kindergarten program that was not simply "daycare plus." We found that Camelot offers an excellent and individually tailored program focused on learning. The students of all grades seem confident, happy, and intelligent, and the skill-level of the kindergarten kids is rather impressive.

More 1 year ago
As the daughter of a stroke survivor, and as someone involved professionally in global health projects, I have been gratefully amazed by the skills, strategic services and dedication of the team on Durham Regional Hospital's seventh floor - the Durham Rehabilitation Institute. Among the medical team caring for my father - doctor, nurse practitioner, nurses and assistants - not a single person was anything but friendly, efficient, competent and caring. The support staff was similarly superb. Our family has become intimately acquainted with half a dozen rehab facilities in recent years - ranging from pathetically poor to excellent - and DRI is a good as rehab can get. The therapists are unfailingly encouraging, creative and proficient - and astonishingly adept at coordinating complex needs into a wholistic program that somehow gets communicated to everyone involved in the treatment. They help their patients dream again and then work with them to realize those aspirations. In short, they're the best.

Nothing will make you appreciate being at this wonderful school like moving on to other schools. Our children were there from preschool until they graduated from 6th grade, and it was the most incredible educational experience I can imagine ever giving them. They have a love of learning, respect for peers, ability to resolve conflict, a wonderful sense of self-worth, and I attribute much of the wonderful young adults they've become to this great place, and the the teaching staff that is the most committed you will find anywhere. The curriculum is very strong, and they were both far ahead of their peers when they moved on. No amount of money can buy the love of learning children gain at this awesome institution. I can't say enough about it.

I went to Trinity from 1-8th grade Trinity is like its own little community everyone know each other and offers to help out. Trinity is a Christian atmosphere and has assemblies every Thursday when a speaker will come and speak to the whole school. Trinity is small and thats one of the things i hated but when a fellow classmate lost his dad everyone was making meals for his family and helping out...I don't know how many public schools that would happen in. My 8th grade yr i was ready to leave i wanted out i wanted something newer and bigger and more diversity. At graduation i started thinking that my life will never be the same->at Trinity for lunch we would go outside and eat lunch then play soccer or basketball, we didn't have a cafeteria, we had hot lunch which would come on certain days of the week. And we had Bible class which at the time i thought was dumb thats what church is for, but looking back Bible was one of my favorite classes we did amazing projects brought in food and discussed as a class what we thought. the good thing about a small class is that you get plenty help from the teachers and they will always stay after school to help you. If you are consideringTrinity as a school i would not think twice.

Well, I have been here pretty much all my life. I think that the teachers are really nice and try to help you understand the material that they are teaching the students. They administration might be a little bit wack and the price is okish. But students are most likely to graduate and go to college there. It is a great school, maybe a little small, but that just means that they cant ever get lost.

I like the instructors here, really makes a difference having instructors that not only know what they are doing but are nice and provide a good environment. Master Harris has done an amazing job at their huge new place and the place is always hopping. Now they also have massage and hair which makes it convenient for those on the run.
