I was sent to them from West End Alterations because West End said my wedding dress was too complicated. So I walked right over and went it. A. It looked like a roll of fabric threw up all over the floor. I couldn't believe how unorganized and messy everything looked. B. I had to speak up and talk to them first, no one greated me at the door. So I said ""Hey, the place down the hall sent me over - they said you do wedding dress alterations."" 3 of the women stared at me until I turned my head and saw a younger lady sitting there. She was very nice and asked me what I needed. I believe she was the daughter of the owner. So I told her and she showed me into a dressing room and told me to put my dress on. C. I go into the dressing room and there is stuff everywhere. No one offered to help me put on my HUGE ballroom gown wedding dress so after struggling for about 10 minutes, I finally got it on. D. When the nice girl that helped me came back - she brought her mom (I assume). Her mom looks at me and says...""well - this will be very expensive"". I knew alterations would be so I said that's fine. Then she continued to look at me with such distasted and said ""Well, we make clothes, so it'll look good but before I pin you, let me do an estimate."" Maybe I just looked poor or they didn't care to help me, I don't know. But she came back and said my dress alterations would cost $700. Ha, I laughed, because I thought she was kidding. I'm not a moron, I knew it would be expensive (as in $400), but there was now way I was going to pay them $700 after their poor customer service. So I got undressed and walked out. I will never visit them again for any alterations I'll ever need. They were rude, acted like they were better than me and their studio was awfully cluttered. My dress would have been lost in there. more

Muna is amazing! She really knows how to make you look your best – even better than you could have imagined! I asked her opinion about a navy suit that I often wore to professional meetings. When she explained why the suit didn’t work for me, I knew she was right. With her encouragement and support, I was ready to try something new. She designed a suit that fits me perfectly and looks fabulous! I get compliments whenever I wear it. The thing I love about this suit – in addition to the fact that it’s so comfortable – is that it’s both professional AND stylish. I was so pleased with this outfit that I’ve gone back for several additional pieces. I especially love the jackets and vests she has made for me. Muna is well known for designing one-of-a-kind wedding dresses and ballgowns. The worst part of my wedding was working w/Muna. Every second was painful! She guarantees a perfect fit on your wedding day... My dress did fit, but the bussel (and thus the hem) was too long, causing my dress to drag the entire day, ultimately coming out. Needless to say I had to hold the end of dress throughout the reception. During the ""fitting process,"" I had politely explained the dress was still too long, and should come up a bit, but Muna did more than disagree, she'd shoot me down. She also never had anything done when she said she would, often wasting my time @ each fitting. And, what she would do, would be wrong or she'd lie about it. In the end, I paid for a dress that didn't fit ""RIGHT"", an experience that was unbearable, and two custom made items -- one I'll never wear because it didn't work w/the look I was going for (she knew that and still charged me), and the second that took several iterations and a full reconstruction to make. I ordered my wedding dress in a size 10 and between the time of ordering and when it arrived I lost 40 pounds and went down to a size 2. The dress was custom done so I couldn't return it. I was definitely in trouble! My dress was a designer dress and I was warned not to take it to just anybody because a lot of seamstresses aren't accustomed to handling luxury fabrics. As luck would have it I was reading a Nashville magazine and happened to stumble across an article for Muna Couture. She sounded fabulous and I decided to call her and see if she could possibly help. I instantly felt at ease with Muna. She is very sweet and most importantly she knows her stuff. Taking the dress in was quiet expensive because they were basically having to take the entire thing apart and put it back together. It was such a detailed process I am so glad I went to a real professional. She even has a guarantee that your dress will fit you perfectly on the day of your wedding. Needless to say mine did! Muna's place is like no other. Her work is like art. She made my wife's wedding dress and it was divine. She uses the very best of fabrics from around the world. Muna will work with you one on one to make your dream gown. She is very honest and very welcoming. They primarly only make women's wear and are on the pricey side, but you get what you paid for.
