This is the second time I lived at the Monterria and I'm just as sad to leave this time as the last. The first time I lived there was 15 years ago for 5 years and this time was for the last 3 years and I couldn't have been happier with both my stays. It honestly felt like warm home since I'm unable to commit to buying a home. The gated community is safe with excellent security and the ability to park in front of your home is the best. It's extremely quiet as well. The office staff is top notch excellent, professional and always there to help with anything. All the amenities are great, the pools, BBQ and work out area are all you'll ever need. The location is the best, next to the Galleria Mall and any type of restaurant you could ever imagine is less than 3 minutes away.. The pricing for my 1100sq foot huge one bed with wood floors was worth every penny considering the location and the high-end living I'm accustom to. \r \r \r \r Thank you for everything I'll be back..\r J Andersen\r more

I wanted to live here because I thought it was a safe place to live with the gate and the security watch. However, since I?ve lived here there have been numerous cars and homes broken into, several car tires stolen, and gun shots at 4 AM. Management keeps ignoring these criminal activities yet we still pay a hefty rental charge. If there is a security person up front (usually only for couple of days after some crime) than security lets everyone and anyone come in. I know this because the security men instantly opened the gate for my friend and I at 2 AM. If managements reports crimes, they of course remind us that they are not responsible for any personal property damaged or stolen.
