Got it all... 2/2/2010

This is a great neighborhood bar with amazing food, a good beer list and lots of friendly locals. After work or just to hang at, you can't beat it if you are in Sandy Springs. A little hard to find the first time, it's in the Kroger shopping center. Kinda just like being in Ireland, enjoy it every time...give it a try. Pros: People, food, drinks and beer Cons: none really, but kinda hard to find. more

Meehan's has the total combination of great food, great clientele and a great staff. As a Sandy Springs native, I am thrilled to finally have a reliable watering hole on my side of town. I LOVE THIS PUB !!!! The staff is awesome, the atmosphere is fun and lively and the food is amazing. Not many pubs are known for the food, but Meehans TOTALLY raises the bar. The chef Linda is amazing and passionate about what she does and wants everyone to taste that in her food. The fish tacos melt in your mouth !! The girls and I decided to go to Meehan's a few Friday's ago for happy hour...which turned into happy hours! I have always liked slider burgers but, these may have been the best! Meehan's is a staple for Happy Hour - I'm a suckr for Irish Pubs, but this place is always packed with a fun crowd and their food is great too. \r Highly recommend the sliders. They have a very yummy sauce. Good local pub 12/12/2008

\r Nice hang out close to home with good pub food. This is not a fancy place, but you will get good service, good prices, good food, and a good selection of typical pub food. Nothing fancy, but you didn't really want cut glass crystal-did you? Bring the wife or girlfriend, a few friends and have a few beers and chow down. We had fish and chips and Shepherds pie during a cold wet windy day and night in the winter and the place was packed with happy folks having a good time. Hated to leave. Pros: Easy parking, close to Rosewell Rd. and perimeter area. Cons: Can get a little noisy, but that is what pubs are for. more

Home Away From Home!!! 2/16/2008

I just moved here from Boston & have gone out on the town checking out what Atlanta has to offer and I found a great pub right in my own neighborhood!! Great food & the friendly staff really made me feel right at home! Good beer selection & the menu was better than expected. The fish & chips are the best I've ever had! Saw a great band there. I think they have music on weekends. Does anyone know? I felt like I was back home at The Black Rose! I highly recommend Meehan's! more

Great Neighborhood Pub 11/20/2006

This is a great neighborhood pub in the heart of the new CityWalk of Sandy Springs. The food is amazing, especially traditional Irish fare such as the Bangers and Mash or the Meatloaf. Their hamburgers are something to experience. This place is usually hoping on a Friday and is great on St. Paddy's day - of course.
