Master Auto Body & Upholstery

My Jeep suffered an overnight hit and run parked in front of my house. It's an older Jeep and I didn't carry the insurance coverage for the damage. I asked my insurance company for shop recommendations and also read online reviews for repair shops. I sent my wife out to four shops, two on the insurance list and the two best from online reviews. I was happy to send my wife out to see who would give her the ""female treatment"" so typical in the industry. Master, her last stop, was not only the least expensive (less than half of the highest quote), but Victor took the time to show her just how much work and parts would be involved and explain all of the other shops' estimates. It was by far her best experience. We looked at all of the itemized estimates and decided on Master, which was not on the insurance-recommended list. I couldn't be happier with the results. In order to save me some money, since he knew I was paying out of my hide, he offered to straighten some sheet metal rather than replace it. I figured I could live with some imperfections on the old Jeep. I saw the work prior to paint and was amazed at the craftsmanship. I've done my share of wrenching and paint/body work in my earlier days when I had the shop and the energy. These guys are pros and I didn't see any corners cut. When I asked why they aren't a ""preferred"" shop by insurance companies, they said they prefer to remain independent so they can better negotiate with the insurance companies on the customer's behalf. They also don't snare their customers by running a vulturous wrecker service dragging poor accident victims back to their shop. They seem to do fine by simply doing good work. Victor was courteous and professional, downright nice really. The work was outstanding. And the price was the best in town. If I ever need body or paint work, next time I'll skip the comparison shopping and go straight to Master. more

I will like to once again thank Master Auto Body & all the staff. Not only did they repair my vehicle to perfection, they went the extra mile and used all new OEM parts at no additional cost. (because my insurance paid for recondition parts) I was very happy and pleased to know that there are still honest and helpful people who really do care about quality and customer service. I brought my vehicle to Master Paint and Body after reading their reviews on line. After 4 weeks of being in their shop after an accident (fault of the other driver), I picked up my vehicle and while the body work was very good and the paint was a perfect match, I immediately saw a couple of slight paint imperfections. I told myself that I could live with it after not having my vehicle for so long. I drove my car for 1 week and discovered that during that week the paint was chipping badly from rock chips on the front bumper. I called them and to their credit they were accomodating and told me to just bring it back in. I did so, and when I arrived they looked at it they began trying to tell me that it was chipping because I was speeding and tailgating. I immediately called BS and told them that the car was 5 years old and the original paint didn't chip away in large chunks like their paint did. The Master Representative then stopped his argument and agreed to repaint my vehicle. After a couple of weeks they called me to pick up the vehicle. The paint again looked good and the representative stated that he had talked to their paint supplier and they asked that I let the paint cure longer. They also said that they buffed out my car since I had to bring it back. I drove my car home and left it in the garage for over 2 months before taking it out of the neighborhood. When I did begin driving the car to work again I babied the car and stayed back at least 4 - 6 car lengths at all times. It has now been about 7 weeks since I began driving my car full time and the front bumper is again chipping. My inital thought was that I could probably bring it back but what's the use if they can't get it right!?! My time is worth more than the cost of repainting the front bumper again. Just when I was ready to call it a day with this issue, Victor, from Masters Paint and Body called to discuss what was going on with my car. He arranged for a loaner and even had the loaner dropped off and my car picked up. I just got it back today after a week and the paint is once again beautiful. Victor took it a step further and had their paint rep come in for an analysis. In addition to that, Victor worked out a deal with Xpert Tinting and Alarms to apply the 3M Clear Bra at Master's Paint and Body's pricing. Victor and Master's Paint and Body truly displayed their Customer Focus during this whole ordeal. While it wasn't completely painless, it is nice to know that there are businesses out there that still do work for the Customer! more

I was in an auto accident and I took my car to Master Auto Body for the repairs. They were very expedient in helping my get a rental car, and they even provided me with shuttle service in order to pick it up. They also worked with the insurance company in order to get all the approvals quickly. They were open and honest about everything with me. They were willing to let me see the work as it progressed, and when they gave me a time frame for the car's completion, it was done when they said. They really communicated with me throughout the whole process. I can't stress their honesty enough. When dealing with parts of my car that had to be purchased, they worked diligently with the insurance company in order to make sure that I could get the original parts paid for. Often insurances would prefer to use sub-par or re-fabricated parts, but Master Auto Body got me the original parts in order to maintain the quality of the vehicle. I've had my car serviced at other places, and the value at Master Auto is great. The price was right on line with what it should be, and the quality was awesome. They made the whole process such an easy thing. There are so many things to deal with when an accident is involved. They really made it headache free. Master Auto Body does great work. They are very professional and personable, they really treat me like family. I have been extremely pleased since day 1 with their service. I have a 2005 Scion Xa project car that I bought from my friend. When I first got in the car, I realized he had painted all the panels in the interior of the car blue. I was horrified because a perfectly beautiful car was subject to an amateur paint job not even worthy of one star. My friend told me even he regrets painting it himself. Well, I decided to go online and look for the closest body shop to my house. I found Master Auto Body & Upholstery through google. When I got there, a man named Victor showed me around the warehouse a little. He was really courteous and knowledgeable. They had just finished converting a 2009 Mitsubishi Evolution from a 4 door to a 2 door. Right then and there, I knew these guys were in a different league. It's not everyday you see a 4 door converted to a 2 door. Well, it was no doubt these guys could paint my panels blindfolded, but I was afraid it would cost me and an arm and a leg. However, after Victor gave me my quote for the paint and labor, all I could say was SOLD!! Hahaha... It took about 1 1/2 days, but when I saw my car, I knew there was a god. I was looking to retrofit my old Toyota Camry with tether anchors for infant car seat. All Toyota dealerships refused to do it since it's a lot of work and you dont' make up in revenue for time spent. This was the only body shop that agreed to do the job. Not only did they install everything nicely, but they also charged me very reasonably - somethng that is very rare these days when economy in the whole country is struggling. Customer service is fantastic. Everybody I talked to was very polite and eager to help. They really went an extra mile in my case and fixed a couple of other little things as well without additional charge. Next time I have trouble with the car I'm definitely going back, and will recommend all of my friends this body shop. Excellent experience!!! Pros: Excellent customer service, pricing, etc... I brought in my 2005 Nissan Altima for repairs to my front bumper, hood, and headlights. After reviewing all the estimates from other shops, I decided on Master Auto Body because of their attention to detail and ability to fix what other shops could not. I picked up my car and was amazed! The car looked like it just came off the lot! It was sparkling clean inside and out, and I couldn't even tell where the damage was! Saw my car same day, paintless dent repair guy did a great job. Dent was on a difficult spot of car (curved wheel arch right in the middle of the eyebrow, the crease in middle of arch that creates the car's line). Got it as perfect as possible without repainting, extremely impressed. Would definitely give them first shot at any other type of body work I needed. I never write any reviews online but this shop really impressed me with there work. As soon as you are welcomed into there office you fell very confident of there work and honesty. They went over all the options I had and worked with me and understood exactly what I needed. I was really surprised on how well everything went with the repairs on my vehicle. The car was finished on time,great price,great customer service,very detailed repairs, and I could go on and on. I have 2002 Grand Am Gt and my right side front door wouldn't open all the way which had caused the fender to bend, the side molding also needed to be reglued as it was a little loose. I went in for an estimate last Friday and liked the price alot and the friendliness. I previously was quoted a much higher price and was told I would've had to leave my car for 4 days. So I googled body shops and came across Master Auto Body & Upholstery and the reviews were very impressive. I left my car overnight and they did a really great job on my car, they even touched up some marks that were on my car. So now my car looks like it did when I bought it and my husband bought me some new rims today, my car looks amazing. So I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. When I called in the receptionist was polite and caring. I went to other places and they didn't even try to help. I had a problem with my driver side door and Victor helped me, he gave me suggestions and even try to help me with other problems with no charge. Gave me a estimate really quick with a good price. My car was involved in an accident so I called my Mercedes-Benz Greenway service advisor who referred me to Master Auto Body & Upholstery. The staff was very professional, they have a very nice waiting area, and made everything very easy for me. They will do anything to make the customers happy. When I arrived at there office every customer left with a smile. They keep me informed as the repairs were being preformed and e-mailed me pictures of the progress. The repairs were completed on time, great price, and very detailed finish. They make sure nobody can tell the vehicle was in a collision. There is no reason to look around they are the best. I was referred by a real close friend,because of the great work they do.I have a 2008 Chevy Tahoe base LT model and was involved in an accident.The whole front end was replaced the repairs were complete in 10 days.The insurance estimated 16 days! I was referred by a coworker that has been doing bussiness with them for the past 15 years! I just recently moved to Houston and didn't know where to get my vehicle repaired.As soon as i arrived to the auto repair shop I was overwhelmed with the great customer service and immediate help to set up my insurance claim.My insurance wanted me to get my car repaired at one of there repair shops and i will never go thru that nightmare again.The estimate to repair my Benz was about 12,000 and the car was out the shop in 12 days.It's been over two month's and i didn't have to go back for anything the repairs where excellent and i was very pleased,they also provide lifetime warranty.Thank you Master Auto Body & Upholstery. I went to this shop because of the reviews, so it's fair that I add my own. We had a VERY quick turnaround request, and they were all smiles and even did extra work to make the car look great. The bill was exactly the same as the estimate - which was exactly half the price of the big name shop around the corner where we got our competitive estimate. No one wants to go to a body shop, but this one made it all okay, and the work was great and lifetime warrantied. I don't know who the ""shouter"" is from another review, but maybe it was a different shop they thought was this company, or maybe it's a competitor, or maybe the shop is under a new manager, I don't know. My car was involved in an accident. Luckily a Master wrecker showed up and towed my car to their shop. I was planing on getting it repaired at the dealer but after visiting them i was convinced to give them a try. The staff was very friendly, they helped me set up my claim, and keep me updated with the repairs. My car was almost totaled but after the repairs were completed nobody could even tell it was repaired or painted! If you ever need any paint or body repairs don't look any further they are the best of the best!! I drive by their shop every day on my way to work.I noticed all of the expensive cars in their lot,so i decided to try them out.My 2002 corvette Z06 had a scratch all over the left side. They showed me a few muscle cars in their shop that were restored, the cars were unbelievable!! My car was repaired in two days,paint matched perfectly, and as detailed as i am i was 100% satisfied!! I was involved in a collision, and a very good friend of mine mentioned how she was 100% satisfied with the reapairs performed on her vehicle {2007 Mercedes SL550}. So I decided to try them out.......thank god I did!!!! The reason why I say that is because not only did they do a perfect repair to my car they kept me updated, they were honest,reliable,and respectful, and they offer lifetime warranty on all the repairs (not that they need to). The paint was a perfect match, I was in a rental that very same day, and they helped me set up my claim. I used to be one of those people who would only trust the dealer, but after my experience at this body shop my mind has been changed. No doubt about it I love this shop I will be there loyal customer for life, and I would recommend them to anybody.
