Unpleasant 6/29/2011

I recently purchased a new Lexus. Edmunds requested feedback about the dealerships with which I interacted and I provided an honest opinion of my experience. Lexus of Bellevue called me the following day and asked me to remove the post as it reflected negatively on them. I declined as I felt this would be dishonest and a disservice to an online community of consumers. Shortly thereafter, they posted a curious rebuttal. (You can see the initial review titled 'greedy dealership' and the dealer comment on the Edmunds website under the sales reviews.) Since this is not the proper forum for a rebuttal match, I'll refrain from further comment and hopefully the reader can see how distasteful my experience was (and continues to be) and avoid a similarly unpleasant situation. more

Excellent Service 5/15/2011

We bought a 2011 RX350 in April. When we picked up the car it only had 25 miles on it. After we got home my son, who is taller than me, spotted a small chip above the driver side door. Some people may not care, but after we had spent so much money, I wanted a perfect car. We immediately called our salesman Myron M. He helped us negotiate with his manager, and scheduled an appointment with the service to get it fixed. I also got a new loaner to drive home. The car was ready on Myron?s day off, he even came in to personally deliver the car to me. We've bought seven new cars over the years. However, out of all the sales people we have met, he is the friendliest. He felt like a friend who was helping us find the car we really wanted rather than an average sales person. Most importantly, he took initiative and helped us take care of any problems we had (changing the color after we ordered, fixing the chip, etc) so as to make sure that we were happy with the purchase. It was a very pleasant experience doing business with him. more

I went in to get a CT 200h and they did everything right. When I buy a car I've already done the research on the web and it's only a matter of making sure the car is what it seems on the web. In short I go to buy a car, not to be sold a car. more

Great Experience 1/28/2011

Lexus has once again done a spectacular job of taking care of me and my car! This was an insurance situation because I was in an accident and my rear bumper was torn off. Although my insurance company was not communicative, Lexus has maintained excellent communications with me throughout the experience, helped to keep the process moving efficiently and as usual, made it an excellent experience for me. Truely Outstanding 12/30/2010

I own a new Lexus LS460 and got a ""ding"" on my windshield. I called the service department of Lexus of Bellevue, and was told to go to Safelite Auto Glass in Bellevue for repair. I did, and to my surprise they did not only did a marvelous job, I cannot even see where the ding was (even though they told me that it will probably not disappear, just won't spread), but as a courtesy to Lexus of Bellevue, which sends them so many customers, they did not charge me a dime. They did not even take my insurance info. I think that it is rare nowadays to get such excellent service. Thank both to Safelite and to Lexus of Bellevue! more

Lexus of Bellevue Professional and Courteous 9/29/2010

The Lexus of Bellevue service staff are very professional and courteous. My service was completed sooner than expected, I had been waiting there for it and was able to move on with my day. The waiting area is very comfortable and spacious so I didn't mind waiting anyway. The Lexus of Bellevue courtesy car wash provided was deal closer for me; complete wash and rinse inside and out. It makes me feel like I am driving a new car. Don't change a thing and keep up the good customer service! more

Way to Pompous - Need new GM to revamp their staff 12/9/2009

When they first opened years ago, this was a first class facility. Now, they are just too arrogant. They immediately size you up to see if you can afford their cars. Being in the northwest, they should know the way you dress is not reflective on how much you are worth. I went in looking for a car and immediately the vultures size you up and some just plain walk away from you as you don't look rich enough to buy. Bad idea as I always pay in full for my cars and was ready to drop $90k+ for a new Lexus. How can a commissions sales person expect to sell anything if they treat you like crap. I walk out after getting berated like a little kid and went down the street to Barrier Mercedes and bought a S550. Lexus loss. I still own another Lexus LS430 from before and their service is a whole other review. (hint: pressuring you into more service than you need to generate $$ for themselves) Pros: Nice facility Cons: Salesmanship terrible more

Don't waste your time 11/28/2009

I have buyers remorse BIG TIME. Less than a week ago I purchased a 2010 RX. Love the car, but am now sure I could have gotten this vehicle for thousands less elsewhere. I admit that I let my emotions get in the way and took the bait. I know better and have been never let this happen before. I should have simply left and gone elsewhere. They are very typical in that they gave me lots of hype about their HUGE inventory yet they had neither my first or second choice in stock and I ended up buying a very slightly used demo for basically MSRP and a token of a discount. Enough to feel insulted. However, I must admit that I agreed to the deal. My husband loves the car so much that he now wants one. So, in a month or so we'll be going doing this again, but it won't be in Bellevue. Pros: Easy to get to, beautiful building, nice staff Cons: High Prices, NOT Willing To Deal more

After doing my research, and plenty of it mind you, I decided to purchase a 2010 RX350 . The question now was who would I purchase from? I used the internet to contact various dealerships around the local area, and after speaking with various representives, decided that Lexus of Bellevue not only had the best selection of vehicles, but really understood my concerns. From my arrival, me and my dogs, were greeted and treated with respect and dignity. You would expect to spend the better part of a day when purchasing a new car, but by working with the internet department, I was able to get the EXACT vehicle I was looking for in just over an hour. Pros: Internet department made it easy Cons: to many vehicles to choose from more

This establisment does not even deserve a one star rating. The way my husband and I were treated by the sales man was unacceptable. He continued to push the car he wanted to sell on us, did not listen to our needs at all! kept bringin up our salaries and reminding us we can afford it. Kept waking away to ""get things"" and wold come back smelling of cigarrettes (so in actual fact he was not going to find things out or getting numbers- he was going on smoke breaks and making us wait for him) When we decided to walk away, he literally yelled at us, refused to get his manager, threatened to get security to kick us out and then as we were driving away starting screaming and cussing at us. Worst DealerShip I have encountered. O'Obrien group 9/3/2008

Early this year, got a 2008 RX350 from Lexus of Bellevue. Also, last year, got a 2007 RX350 from Lexus of Tacoma. Both dealerships are O'Brien group. For both cases, sales person never deliver their promise at the time of the delivery and were rude on both cases. Everything they say they are going to do at the time of negotiation process, they never carried out. For the 2007 RX, sales person promised to include some accessories at the time of offer. However, during vehicle pickup, the sales just tells us that the accessories were not in stock and that he will mailed it to me when it become in stock. Never heard back from him. Furthermore, the sales person were rude when asking them for reports for the vehicle at the time of the pickup. Furthermore, because the deal was made at the end of the month, they keep phoning me wanting me to send them the money for the deal that has only be made 2 day ago and planning to be picked up 2 week later. They even Harrased to cancel the order if I do not pay within one day, which I told them it's only the 3rd day after the offer if they want to do that go ahead, at which point they softened and said I can just pay before I pick up the car. more
