Not so much... 9/24/2009

I used to come to this place RITUALLY in 2007...and I'm assuming that it got under new mgmt...which skyrocketed the prices...and lowered the portions & the taste value. I always like to give places that I used to love another try...and today was the day...and...still...not so much....the Sushi was rolled very well..the price of 12-16 quarter size rolls $9.50. THAT'S EXPENSIVE! Not only that...I always get spicy...and there were no spices on these babies. It'll be another more couple months til I come back here again Pros: Take Out Orders Cons: hmmm...lemme see more

Great food and good service 1/21/2009

We went on a Tuesday night at 7PM there were only a couple people in there. The service was great, probably because it was practically empty and the sushi was amazing! I didn't think it was that pricey compared to other sushi restaurants. A specialty bigger roll was $9.99. After reading the other reviews it may be better to go when you are not in a rush. more

Ladybug got it RIGHT!! 12/17/2008

The service is the same as the other review (literally chase down anything that you want or need). My co workers and I went a few times a week that was until they changed the cook, menu, selection, and prices.Dont get me wrong we still go occasionally and the food is good but you cant change something (less selection and higher price) and expect people to keep coming. We used to have to wait for a table and now you walk in and they are totally empty, I assume everyone began feeling like we did. Maybe they shouldnt have changed a good thing. more

Amazing food, Service will cause a monk to cuss 5/28/2008

Sushi is fresh and the bento boxes leave you thinking about them at 2 am. The service is a different story. Most recent experience: A coworker and I went at noon. We were told to seat ourselves. After 10 minutes of neglect I got my own menu. We ended up flagging down a server and he took our order. It took 5 minutes for him to bring us water and 5 for our soup and salad. The entire time we watch as the servers struggle to do one thing at a time and stand around as if they forgot what to do. During the next 15 minutes, the server brought food by us asking us if we had ordered the various meals on hand. This happens twice. This was followed up with her coming by telling us the bento boxes would be ready in a couple of minutes. Within a couple of minutes she came out of the kitchen with two. As she got to the table she got this oh s*** look on her face, turned around and went to the kitchen. She came to the table without the food and said that the other server had written down the order wrong and asked if we wanted the dishes that were already prepared. 15 minutes later our bento boxes come out. We scarf our food down and get up to the cashier who always seems to be the guy in charge. Their credit card machine didn't work. My friend was obviously ticked and after a few minutes of him fumbling and my friend sighing loudly I say, ""Sorry for the impatience."" and explain all that happened. He responded with, ""yea, I know."" with a kind of sorry-ish tone. The lady in line behind me said the same things happen to her almost every time too. She goes for the red curry. If the food wasn't amazing I wouldn't go and I hate myself each time I give them business. The servers barely speak english and can't do more than one thing at a time. If you need anything (water, chopsticks, etc.) you'll need to catch someone as they pass and if you are eating with more than one person, you'll most likely be able to finish your meal before the last person gets their food. Pros: amazing food Cons: incompetent staff and aloof owners more
