Good reception hall 11/1/2007

This is a good reception hall for private events. It is centraly located in Downtown Houston at the corner of Milam and Preston streets. The first floor is a huge reception hall while the other 9 levels are parking. The parking area is always protected by police officers on the weekend so your car will be protected while you attend your special function. Pros: Parking on weekends is good, food is good more

WORST SERVICE, WORST EXPERIENCE 6/15/2006

I had an anniversary party here for 180 people. The service was TERRIBLE. The manager was RUDE. The air conditioner was not working. The bathroom was FILTHY. I will NEVER do business with this establishment again. I've been going here for years so naturally I was VERY DISAPPOINTED. The manager even yelled at my guests! ADVICE: Do NOT have a Banquet here. more

Kim Son Addict for LIFE! 12/16/2002

I have been coming to this restaurant for a long time and have NEVER had a bad experience. The food is amazing...hands down the best chinese food I have ever had. I come to this restaurant every chance I get...never get sick of it...gigantic menu to choose from. The dishes are huge for reasonable price in upscale atmoshpere..1 plate usually enough for 2-3 people. The staff is very friendly..great for dates or big groups. For first timers- the menu choices can be overwhelming..make sure to get spring rolls (theyre famous for them)..sizzling shrimp..sweet sensation and moo shoo are all excellent. By the way, there is NO way pf changs is better (close but no cigar). more

Fabulous Eating Experience 8/24/2002

One word sums it all up - fabulous... Kim Son is a treat for the ears, eye and the stomach. The wait staff is very pleasant and prompt, the ambiance of the Westheimer, Downtown and Fountain locations are exquisite and the food is always top-notch, prepared fresh and in good portion. more

Great Lunch Specials 8/16/2002

I go to the downtown location near 59 and they have all these wonderful choices for lunch specials and it goes really quickly. They are very good about serving you more iced tea, too. They also have a nice romantic atmosphere if you opt to eat off of the menu instead. Pros: quick for lunch, tastes great, service with a smile Cons: parking hard sometime, get's crowded at noon more
