WORST HAPPY HOUR IN ALL OF COLORADO SPRINGS!!! I can't believe that they have the nerve to call the prices they charge happy hour! They just give you 1/2 the amount of food at reg...

Great food, the service could better. 5/13/2012

We've been going to Jun for 2 years now and the food has always been great. The service is not s good; the waitresses seem rude and their comments are short and to the point. Our orders have always been fresh and accurate. The Dublin/Academy restaurant is cozier than the one on Centeniwl Blvsd. We'll be going back again with my mother in law and my stepdaughter and her fianc? next week! more

WORST HAPPY HOUR IN ALL OF COLORADO SPRINGS!! 4/25/2012

WORST HAPPY HOUR IN ALL OF COLORADO SPRINGS!!! I can't believe that they have the nerve to call the prices they charge happy hour! They just give you 1/2 the amount of food at regular price ANYWHERE ELSE!!! EXAMPLE: 2 pieces of nigiri sushi @ happy hour = $4-5.... which means during normal hours 2 pieces of sushi = $8-10.... that is OUTRAGEOUS! and I love sushi, I have been to lots of sushi places all over the world, including Japan (where they serve REAL sushi for cheaper then the crap you get here).... and this is by far the worst in the world that I have had to experience. DONT EVER GO HERE, SAVE YOUR MONEY, GO ANYWHERE ELSE!!!!!!! more

Great Sushi, Bad Service 2/14/2011

I love Jun's sushi, I would even say its the best sushi I've ever had. But both locations have horrible sevice. The waitstaff is rude, they ignore you, and when they mess up, they don't make it right. I had ordered a vegetable tempura to-go and instead got all mushrooms which I hate. I called and they said I could get a new one next time, took my info, and when I called back to get the tempura, the lady was literally yeling at me telling me that she didn't have my name anywhere. That's the only time I've had to deal with a messed up order but everytime I eat there, I take it to-go. I've never had a server that made me feel welcome or comfortable. They seem like they have some place else to be... and in the service industry, that is not how things should be done. more

bad service bad food 10/18/2009

As soon as we walked in, it seemed like we were a burden to them. No smile, no courtesy, just a ""hurry up and order"" vibe. The food took forever and it wasn't even that good. The sushi rice was old and stale and you can tell the quality of the fish was not good. Also, not once did the waitress come back and offer refill for our drinks. When we were all done and paid for the food, the waitress looked at each receipt to see how much tip we put. I thought that was very rude. Also I was so disappointed, I did not leave a tip (I rarely do this) and she muttered some profanity under her breath. Fire these old, angry waitresses and hire young, cheery ones. Pros: opened late compared to other sushi restaurants on a sunday Cons: horrible service - food wasn't even that good more

We love Jun's! 7/3/2009

We have been eating at Jun's every few months for over 10 years - We have seen the same chef upon every visit. Pros: Family friendly, great sushi Cons: could be spruced up to look cleaner more

Don't Eat The Chicken 6/25/2009

On June 19 my wife and three out of town friends ate the chicken and with-in hours were all suffering from Montazuma's Revenge - The owner refused to even call back to apologize but instead, accused us of lying because no other complaints were received. Not looking for free food or money back - Don't need either. Just an apology ... we'll see ... Cons: Montazuma's Revenge more

Nothing special here. 7/19/2006

I went to Jun's on Academy. Although they get points for having very original combinations and a large variety of sushi, the sushi seemed very sloppy, not fresh at all. Pros: cheap Cons: sushi was not fresh more

Jun's on Centennial 5/31/2006

Obviously, the other folks don't venture out much!! I've been to both of Jun's restaurants. The food is excellent and they will prepare any combination you request. The sushi is fresh and expertly prepared. For ambience, visit the new location on Centennial. Due to the popularity, you need to get there before 5:30pm or wait until 7:30pm to get the best seating. Great view at night. Pros: Selection, Freshness, Presentation more

Jun's new restaurant on Centennial Blvd. 5/8/2006

This may be just the best, freshest sushi in Colorado!!! If you like sushi, the sushi bar and chefs at Jun's are well worth the drive up Filmore to Centennial... Jun's new restaurant's fine woodworking and decor is warm and inviting. The hibachi menu and regular menu are excellent, as well. Pros: great Japanese food, good service more

Don't believe the Jun hype! 1/12/2006

All over Colorado Springs, people rave about Jun... it's in the Gazette and wins awards from the Indy every year. I don't know why. I know it's hard to get just caught fresh fish in the Rocky Mountains but the food isn't much better than the packaged ""sushi"" you can get in the seafood department at King Soopers. The cleanliness of the resturant isn't at all desirable, and there's not too much in there that reminds me of even the smallest mom and pop place I frequented when I lived in Japan. If you think that Taco Bell is Mexican food, then you'll probably think that Jun is Japanese food and thus will have a good time there. Otherwise, I'd avoid the hype as the food isn't that great, the freshness is questionable (which means everything to sushi), and the value isn't there for what you get. more

Good...not Great 9/9/2003

Jun's has little to no competition in the immediate area, and unfortunately this causes this restaurant to be crowded, noisy, and full of people who are simply getting short-changed in terms of real Japanese food. I recommend going to Denver to try some of the Asian restaurants up there. All you will get here is Americanized psudo-Japanese food. If you want better, go north! Pros: Edible , close, nothing more Cons: Long lines, brown sashimi, loud more
