I recently ordered flowers from here for my sister's funeral service. The arrangements were very beautiful. We took many home with us, and were so glad they lasted a long time. When we ordered the flowers the sales people were so kind and helpful. Really important for us considering the circumstances. I would not hesitate to go back. I don't usually write reviews, but in light of some of the reviews on here, I just wanted to relate my experience. I live in this neighborhood and many of my neighbors recommended this shop to me-I am pleased.

Repaired my laptop power jack for only $100. I had made the mistake of taking it to techno rescue first. Techno rescue charged me $50 for the diagnostic (I had told them that it had a bad power jack) then wanted $250 for the repair. I took my laptop to Compuxparts and they did the repair right for less.

This place always has the coolest things. I get various books on the metaphysical and I get my jewelry there too. I love that they also sell incense and things of that sort. I could spend hours there just browsing through their books and trinkets. The staff is always nice and welcoming! Top notch! The prices are too bad as well!

I had to grab some flowers at the last minute for a wedding, and found what I needed at Flowerama. I was looking for a specific color of roses that weren't in stock, but they were able to spray paint them to match what I wanted. I was very pleased at the customer service!

First time in with friends doen from Denver, what a crazy store. Forget the outles Halloween shops, this place dwarfs their selection. Makeup, masks, magic, and dont forget their custume department upstairs. We got the hook up on everyting we neded and more. Even Elvira and Alice Cooper were there helping us!

Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful.The bridesmaids gowns that I got here were beautiful and the best thing my girls could wear them again! Hightower Collectables has things for nearly every collector. They have model cars that are almost rare and in mint condition. Some are made in very limitited quantities. There are pocket Dragons, light houses, Christmas scenes. just about everything you need. The products are very high quality high quality and so are thier standards. The Employees are knowledgable of all their products and willing to go the extra mile

I love to go to Border's Book's and browse the shelves and sometimes even buy a book or two. They usually have a "coffee" bar there and I'll try a new coffee drink if I'm in the mood for one. I stop at the card display and read cards too. I will go through the clearance table to see if there is something in there that could be used as a "gift" for someone or just something I might want for myself. I'll check out all the calendars. It's fun to just end up at a table and just sit and watch the people that come and go. I am a people watcher and for some silly reason, it relaxes me.

Michael Garman is a local artist who does unique sculptures of 1940's-era working class folks. His lifelike subjects have the most amazing facial features and his work is truly one-of-a-kind. Of particular interest are his "diner scenes" which show all kinds of motley folks hanging out at the local food counter.
But, what you must check out while you are the gallery is the Magic Town int he back. for a small fee, you will enter a world unlike any that you have seen. It is a complete miniature 1940's cityscape with talking holograms and all kinds of surprises. Kids and adult will enjoy--I think it brings out the voyeur in all of us as we peek in windows to get a better look at what lies within.
