Regarding The Juices Fountain, I understand there is a proposed development that through eminent domain, will require the closure of the ""The Juices Fountain"". While it is important for the City to improve the community, it is equally important to also preserve the Los Angeles past. It is possible that the City of Los Angeles provide incentives for The Juices Fountain so they can remain in operation, or incentives for the new development to incorporate establishments that have remained in the community for 30 years or more, into the new design of the proposed development. \r

This would help to preserve the uniqueness and significance of the Los Angeles past, by incorporating these establishments into new developments for furture improvements. To help to protect a piece of Los Angeles history in Hollywood, please write a note requesting the City Planning Commission to require that The Juices Fountain be incorporated into the plan of the proposed development by calling 213-482-7077 or by FAX at 213-482-7080
