I was recommended by a friend to Chris. I had no idea what to expect since I'd never heard of this salon before. My first experience there was really fun. I was treated nice and she listened to what I wanted, my hair came out gorgeous...I felt like a million bucks lol =) its pricy but worth it! I cheated on the salon once after and I learned my lesson...never again will I get my hair done if its not at Je Jeune salon....I'm a proud costumer who highly encourages you to go see Chris! I Love my hair! more

Best Salon in Hollywood! 5/9/2012

I love Chris!! This is the best salon in Hollywood!! I moved to Hollywood about a year ago and searched through several stylists before I found Chris. She is so sweet and knowledgable and makes my hair look amazing! Her salon is super cute and in the middle of Hollywood- it is so easy to get to. She totally turned my bad highlights around and really has helped the strength of my hair so much. I am SOOO thankful that I found her!!! more

Best Haircut in LA - Loyal Customer for 9 years 1/5/2010

I moved to LA in 2001 and noticed my friend's excellent haircut. She referred me to Chris at Je Jeune and I have always been happy with her work. Chris is one of those rare artists that you hope to find in any city, large or small. Over the past 9 years I tried a few of the famous, ultra expensive stylists in Beverly Hills (we all know the names) and always ended up coming back to Chris, not because of the price, but because of the quality! I recommend Chris to anyone and everyone. Pros: Great style, service and price. Cons: None! more

Best Stylist in Los Angeles! Wouldn't go anywhere else! 9/1/2009

Chris D'Anda at Je Jeune Salon is as good as it gets for hair. She is by far the most talented stylist I have ever worked with. She always gives me a perfect cut (even if I didn't know what I wanted!) and her color is the best! Before I was recommended to Chris, I was salon-hopping at all kinds of expensive salons, but couldn't find a stylist that I felt really comfortable with. Luckily I found Chris and my hair has been perfect ever since! Her salon is beautiful and she is one of the sweetest, funniest and sharpest people I know. Her prices are very reasonable and I always have a great time hanging out while my color is processing. I cannot recommend Chris D'Anda at Je Jeune enough - her location is in central Hollywood and she has off street parking. Also, be sure to check out her Shampoo and Conditioner line called Gothique - it is the most delicious smelling product in the world and is swell on my bleached hair. Pros: talented stylist, very reasonable, cute salon, parking Cons: NONE! more

My mom has been going to Chris D'Anda for many years and refuses to go to anyone else. So, after going to many other hairstylist and never being truly satisfied, I tried Chris and I keep coming back. I have to drive 50 miles but she's worth it. Pros: The best hairstylist more

Never a bad cut! 6/17/2009

Over six years ago, I took a chance and went to Chris without any referral whatsoever, and ever since, I haven't even entertained the possibility of going to anyone else. I am always satisfied with what she does for me! In addition, she's a fine conversationalist, and let's me say terrible things. :0) Whether you're a man or woman, if you're looking for a new stylist, Je Jeune is definitely deserving of a shot at your business. i had a friend who had some seriously damaged hair who went here and the stylist fixed it up. Apparently there are a lot of ways to screw up your hair and professional salons are using them. Pros: great haircut, i would send anyone here more

Great hair and a pleasant atmosphere 4/13/2009

Je Jeune Salon really was a wonderful discovery. I have curly, occasionally frizzy hair and the hairdresser not only made my hair look gorgeous, but she also gave me some inside tips on how to manage my hair on my own. I don't have to go anywhere else anymore, Je Jeune definitely is the best place in LA if you want great hair! Pros: The fastest, greatest service and a nice salon more

Perfect! 1/10/2009

Chris just took ten years off my face. She spiced up my shoulder length hair with some bangs and manageable layers and actually took the TIME to teach me how to do my hair to maintain the style at home. My cut was so cute that when I left I couldn't stop smiling. LOVE what she did. I'm going to Chris for life. Pros: Very warm, personable, parking, spent lots of time with me. more

THE BEST CUT, COLOR IN LOS ANGELES W/O ALL THE B.S. 11/14/2008

Ive been going to Chris at her salon Je Jeune over ten years. It says it all when people referred who I'm not even friends with anymore continue to use her. I moved across town and will make the time to get to Hollywood for her work. She gives me great mens short cuts, but, I've sent in female brunettes, wild and conservative blondes (she does AMAZING natural beach blondes, did I say AMAZING?) and a friend with messed up red salon color that she miraculously fixed. The Only Place I'll Go In LA 9/15/2008

I go back and forth between NYC and LA and when I first started coming here, Chris was highly recommended to me. I go to Bumble and Bumble in NY and at a fraction of the cost, and with the personalized, focused attention Chris gives as the owner and sole proprietor, there's no comparison. I want to convince here to travel with me. Moreover, she'll work me in on a moment's notice. For price, attention, and quality of cut, don't be a chump. Go here. Or be a chump and go somewhere else. Best place for cut 9/14/2008

I've been going to Chris at Je Jeune for over five years now. It's the only place I go for a cut! I have short hair, and I'm very particular about how it's cut. It has to be done just right-- and Chris gets it perfect every single time! In fact, strangers come up to me to tell me how much they like my hair; one guy even told me: ""I don't know how much you spend on your haircut, but even if you are paying thousands, it's worth it--your cut is great!"" Ok, a few other words about Chris. She is always available when I need her for a cut (even on short notice), is a total professional, and also happens to be one of the sweetest people I know. The atmosphere is relaxed and cool, and you can even bring your doggie or cat with you. =) In short, Chris is fabulous! This place has my strongest recommendation for the best place in LA to get a great haircut every time. Pros: great cut, cool place more

Great cut, friendly atmosphere 9/2/2008

I saw Chris for the first time over the weekend, and I'm definitely impressed with my cut/color. After being loyal to another local salon for years, I decided it was time for a change, as my last 2 cuts at the previous place just didn't turn out the way I wanted. I was hesitant to go somewhere new, but I'm SO glad I did! Chris spent a lot of time coloring my hair, using a really quality demi-permanent color that turned out beautifully (I dye my hair black, and lately it has looked dull, but now it's sleek and shiny). She also gave me a great cut, cleaning up my ends and bangs, while disguising a bad, old hair-cut that left me with some weird layers. Now everything is evened out, but I still kept the style I wanted. She even discussed adding some fun extensions to my hair (custom colors like dark purple!) and helped me map out a plan for the best way to grow out my hair, while keeping it healthy looking. Overall, I was very impressed with how friendly the whole experience was, and how much time she set aside to work with me and give my cut lots of personal attention. The salon is beautiful and relaxing -- getting my hair-cut at Je-Jeune was a great way to spend a weekend afternoon! Pros: Nice location, great cut, very friendly more

Chris D'Anda owner of je jeune salon ... i went to the salon with an idea of what i wanted she helped me with choosing the color which turned out hella kool. i had funky colors and a great cut . she really made my hair better than i thought it would be i was very happy with the results ... i know have a great back to skool hair style with great colors im happy that i choose to go to the je jeune salon in hollywood Pros: awsom atmosphere hella kool service more

Abandoning All Barbers! 8/17/2008

I was hesitant to see a stylist, seeing as I've always been a loyal barber shop customer since I was a kid, but Chris from Je Jeune has shown me the light! I used to be in the barber shop like clock work every 2 - 3 weeks. After I went to see Chris she had me grow my hair out a little past my normal crew cut length and styled it in a way that I only need it cut about every 3 -4 months! In addition to the great hair care, the salon looks really cool on the inside, with great tunes, and stylized decor and no excessive waiting like at the barber shop. Hmm... have an old man continue to shave my head or have a pin-up girl style my hair? You ROCK Chris!!! more

this place freakin ROCKS 8/16/2006

i was visiting LA for the weekend, and had to find someone who would style my hair on pretty short notice. i did a quick review of citysearch, and chose je jeune solely because it was near our hotel... but just to make sure it wasn't a dump, i ran by the place to check it out. it was housed in a cute, homey building, and that compounded with the facts that the price was right ($45-65 for a style, when other places wanted to start at $75!) and i had no insider knowledge or recommendations for other places, well... it would have to do. Pros: friendly, unpretentious atmosphere; Chris D'Anda Cons: none i could see! more
