Outstanding Massage Therapist! 2/8/2009

Of all the massage therapist I have used, Janice is the best and I highly recommend her. Janice provides a deep tissue massage that flows slowly and with sensitivity so that I can relax into the area that she is working on. Her hands have the sensitivity to immediately identify the areas that need work and gently but firmly coax's them to release. I am active with Aikido and Yoga and her massage is a welcome addition to my activities. I have also had a hip replacement and she is wonderful with working this area and any injuries I may cause upon myself. Pros: Easy to get to and easy to park more

Great massage therapist! 2/2/2009

Janice is wonderful, cares for her patients and does a fantastic job at deep tissue massage. I highly recommend her. She made me feel very relaxed and comfortable and helped relieve a number of knots and general tightness in my back. I felt rejuvenated after the massage! more

Master Massage Therapist 1/26/2009

I've been to several massage therapists and Janice is definitely the best! I like deep tissue massage and she doesn't disappoint. I had several specific ailments including tendonitis and gluteal tightness and her knowledge of anatomy and physiology as well as her ability to get to the "heart of the matter" made all the difference in the world. In addtion, she gave me specific stretching and strengthening exercises to do to support the work she did. A first-rate, full-servcie massage! more

The Best. 1/26/2009

Honestly, the very best massage I've ever gotten. In fact, Jan used to work out of my chiropractor's office and when she moved I hunted her down. I happen to like a strong massage that fixes what's ailing me - and she never disappoints. I also went to Jan while I was pregnant and always walked out of there feeling lighter and more mobile (a real accomplishment when you've got a 40lb bowling ball strapped to your stomach.) Her current location is great. It's easy to get to and there's free parking. AND - she's a preferred provider for my health insurance. So it's more than affordable. I have been going to Janice regularly for a about a year now. I find her services consistently nurturing and a pleasure. I have some unusual physical aspects to work with and I find Janice accomodates those very well. Pros: Parking right in front & free. Cons: Must get buzzed into building. more

Best Massage in Seattle! 1/23/2009

I have been getting massages for several years because I train for triathlons and am either always sore or injured. I have never been satisfied with the massage therapists I have been to until I started going to Janice. She is very knowledgeable about the muscles in your body and how to help prevent injuries through different stretching exercises. She is also very thorough and takes her time with her massage techniques. She does a nice job of listening to your body and really focuses on the areas that my be causing stress. She is great at what she does and I would highly recommend her. more

What you always hope for in a massage... 1/23/2009

Janice is an excellent massage therapist. If you are like me and have been to numerous massage practicioners that were "ok" but not as good as you had hoped for, you should really try Janice. As the reviews here testify, she is a true professional, understands the musculoskeletal system and gives a very therapeutic yet wonderfully relaxing massage that you just don't want to end. Her prices are great too and the space is very relaxing and spa-like. Make your appointment in advance as she is very popular! more

I have been to many massage therapists in my long years and NO ONE can compare to Janice! Pure Magic. Once the pressure is figured out you will never want the experience to stop. Her prices are very affordable so she remains accessible and the quality of her work is legend! I relive my sessions with her for days afterward. If you haven?t seen her yet I highly recommend you try her. I promise you?ll be at peace when you leave. more

My sister in-law went to Janice and she did a great job. My sister was involved in a bad accident, and Janice helped her work through her physical ailments. Treatment for Tech Neck 5/1/2008

I work at a computer all day and many times all evening too. About two years ago, my neck and shoulders were so stiff, I could not turn my head. I had a serious case of what is called "tech neck." Then I started seeing Janice for a regular deep tissue massage. Janice is able to work deeply to loosen the muscles and release the tension. It has made such a difference for me and I am now able to move head, neck, shoulders and arms freely. Pros: exceptional treatment, very theraputic Cons: none more

Janice was great! I'm a dentist and carry lots of stress and tension in my neck and shoulders. I've recently been having neck spasms. Janice did an awesome job getting into my tense areas and working the muscles out. I felt very relaxed after my treatment. She was very professional and the experience was relaxing and enjoyable. I work on the computer all day, and as a result, I often hold a lot of tension in my neck, shoulders, and back. A good massage is the best form of relief for me. It needs to be deep, and the practitioner needs to have a good anatomical awareness of how all the muscles are connected. I've tried a dozen massage therapists over the years, and it was hard to find someone who was REALLY good. I finally found one: Janice! She has that magic touch: she can coax a muscle into letting go, and then she works out the tension in all the surrounding muscles so it doesn't tighten back up again. I'm a big guy and I like a deep massage; sometimes my back muscles are so tight they feel like steel cables. Janice is very strong and has no problems going deep when I need it. But she's good at calibrating pressure, has a very gentle touch, and is a good communicator, so it's never too much. And then when the aches and pains are gone, be sure to leave a few minutes for... the best foot massage in seattle! Pros: superb massage, reasonable prices, comfortable ambiance, good listener more

Besides a rigorous yoga class, nothing can work out all of my tension and stress (and aches and pains from the daily grind) like my massages from Janice McClure! I've been to Janice several times and she is great about pinpointing the areas that need work...even if I don't tell her where they are.I feel like a million bucks afterwards! Wow massage! 5/17/2007

Wow. I feel so much relief after my massage. Working all day doing physical labor really tears up my back so I needed someone to work deep to release the knots! Running Remedy 4/17/2007

I am a runner and last year I had a sharp pain in my left gluteus area (my butt!). I tried everything, ice, heat, and even yoga. Nothing helped. My coach told me to stay off the track. Then I went to Seattle to visit my mother in-law and happened to see Ms. Janice McClure?s ads for deep tissue massage. I called her and made an appointment for the weekend (her normal hours are Monday through Friday) and she gladly opened her shop just for me. Janice understood my problem and worked her magic. She loosened up the tightness in my hamstrings, my lower back and shoulders. Before I knew it my hour was up. When I got back to Sacramento I registered for a race and, to my relief, my pace for the 10K was under 8 minutes per mile. A month later I was comfortably at 7:33 per mile. I owe it all to Janice. Janice is an amazing massage therapist. She has really helped me when I went in for a massage due to back pain by going deep in the muscles. After an hour I was feeling great. Healing massage in Greenwood 4/1/2007

What can I say... I was referred to Janice by a local chiropractor after an auto accident. My low back and my neck were in so much pain and so stiff every morning that I would get a severe headache by mid-day. Janice has created a soothing environment in her space and has a warm. deep relaxing and healing style that has literally changed my life.
