the first time i went to this resturant alone in the mid afternoon, it was very slow and quiet but the service was great they sat me nest to the window where i got a great view of the bay. service was prompt and accuarate- i ordered a caesar salad (it comes whole so ask for it chopped), a panino club with fries (pork, manchego chz on grilled bread (dry but tasty) then ended it with a chocolate mousse thing.. which was wonderful. i've gone back twice since then and have had similar experiances Pros: food, live music, drink, voyeur kitchen Cons: price more

Jack's has the BEST champage brunch! I have been looking all over for something that compares in the Bay Area and just can't find it. The brunch price includes all your champagne (refills too) and plenty of dungeness crab. If crab and champagne are not to your liking, there is plenty to choose from otherwise. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this place for brunch and highly recommend it to anyone. more

was staying at the waterfront hotel got early for breakfast the hotel staff sugested the restauraunt to me walked into the restaraunt from the hotel , stood there and waited in the empty restauraunt for 5 minutes while the staff walked about doing there morning thing, after that I was seated at a dirty table where again I waited for ten minutes for a cup of coffee after waiting again for another 10 minutes the waiter had not yet come with my coffee or even attmpted to clean the table so I got up and mentioned to one of the staff that i would like a clean table he told me he was too buisy at the moment and i would have to wait for my server being the only customer in the restauraunt I felt highly offended at that point I had decided they did not want my buisness and left more

I made reservations online for Easter Brunch for a stated price and asked for a window seat. My window seat was next to the emergency door without a view, and any view was blocked by a wall. The meal wash charged at not the stated price. I did not enjoy the service. The brunch was delicious, and the manager changed the bill. I would have appreciated a little more attention. This isn't a cheap restaurant and I didn't feel treated as expected. If you are going to make reservations, I recommend being explicit about where you want to sit. Ask not to be seated next to the emergency door. The view is nice if you can see it. Cons: Loud more

The restaurant would seem to be a tourist trap, much like the waterfront restaurants down in San Francisco's Fisherman's Wharf. However, I had a good time at the restaurant based on the prime rib dinner that I ordered. The serving size was generous and the prime rib was very, very good & tasty. My companion's sea bass was also very good & tasty. No complaints about the entree. Definitely left with a full stomach. Pros: Good portions more
