It was bound to happen. The Ave's best kept secret was found out by the racous frat/sorority crowds, and now the echanting tavern is packed full of muscle bound/bleach-blond co-eds nightly.
Thankfully, that hasn't stopped The Emigrant from continuing their winning formula: excellent Irish music, local bands, rowdy trivia nights, attention to service, decent pub food and generous helpings of true Irish comraderie. A better after work bar you won't find, and when you're looking to throw back some pints with your pals or drown the memory of that one that got away, the Irish have all the answers.
Pros: great service, lively tavern, authentically Irish
Cons: collegiately crowded, sometimes smokey
