Editorial review from Citysearch 11/15/2012

This place is truly horrible. Dr. Yeary might be nice, I don't know, I never actually got to meet her. My first visit was fine, got in a quick visit with an RN and then out again. My second time was enough to make me stop going there, because I waited over AN HOUR past when my appointment was supposed to start and Dr. Yeary still hadn't finished with the previous patient. I'm sorry, when you're someone who has to take off work and plan meetings around an appointment you've made, I would expect the person with whom you've made the appointment to respect that. Everyone around me said they also had been waiting an exceptionally long time, so I guess this is a common occurrence. (Also, it's worth mentioning that when I told the front desk person to cancel my appointment and said I wouldn't need another because I wouldn't be back, she rolled her eyes at me. A simple ""I'm sorry"" would have been a lot nicer send-off.) more

Do not trust them. 4/2/2012

I will say I grew up going to this clinic as a child and left not too long ago. -BAD CUSTOMER SERVISE The staff is rude and disrespectful of the HIPPA Privacy act regularly with all the patients information. (currently employed in the health care field.) They are also more into their drama than their patients. And they are just disrespectful. - I had a major accident and got wrong diagnosis after wrong treatment. Drugged out days on so many pills. Starting at 19. I actually don't remember 2 years of my life and hear stories that I don't remember. -As soon as I left that office and got a new Dr. I magically got better and off all the medications and a real diagnosis. Im sorry but my whole family went there and we all got better as soon as we got away from the drug pushing. If their common diagnostic guesses don't solve it, then here are some pills. These should shut ya up. But what's the problem so I can fix it? - Hmm Not sure? That just doesn't work for me. One time they messed up my medications and kept them from me. I went through terrible withdraws. At the end I was told ""opps I was on it longer than I should have, they should have changed my medication a few months ago. But no one noticed how long I had been taking it. Also I really should not have stopped cold turkey either."" Then they actually blamed me. Please for your own health do not go here. I am just speaking my experience. I really never wanted to say this about anyone. I wish people just respect the rules and each other. I wish they cared about my well being. I am healthy and happy in my life. I don't know I would have had that had i stayed at their clinic. They weren't always like that and I hope one day they re find customer service and respect of their patients. more

Undeserving of so many poor reviews 1/28/2010

My family has been seeing Dr. Yeary and Dr. Dawson on and off since I was a child and they are amazingly kind and dedicated doctors. Despite the distance office staff I don't think they are so deserving to receive so many poor reviews. One, as the previous reviewer pointed out, 6 of the negative reviews were done by two of the same people. Also this Candace lady they speak of is no longer employed there. So if you're looking for a great DO or live in Juanita, I think you'll be pleasently surprised. Pros: great doctors Cons: disengaged front office staff more

Nice first time 9/2/2009

I liked my first time at this clinic. I chose it because it is very close to my house, and they accepted my insurance and were taking new patients. I waited for quite a bit, but turns out the wait was worth it. Dr Yeary(sp?) was very nice and patient with me. I had a whole list of issues and she very patiently listned and showed empathy. I will continue to return. As far as the front office staff, they were polite, nothing really remarkable.... Pros: Great first impression of the Doctors Cons: Waited for a while, but to be expected at most Dr's more

review from an experienced Nurse 8/19/2009

This place is a rather cramped, crowded place that i have been going to for the last 2 months. I am no longer a patient there, for I came to the conclusion that the front office staff does not have any respect or privacy for neither mine nor other patient's information. I will not go into detail, but I can assure you that I felt violated when it came to my personal information. I tried to shrug off the fact that almost every single time I showed up there I was ignored until it was a convenience to the staff to finally acknowledge me. I am not asking for sole attention but it would of been nice to have been looked in the eye while I was being spoken to. As a former nurse of 20 plus years, I have to say that I have seen better places to go. The doctor's are not an issue, rather it seem's to be that the rest of the staff has really made a negative impression on me. Pros: near Juanita Cons: Some more

healthcare 8/2/2009

I have come to the conclusion that the previous reviews are from a ex discruntled employee. This establishment is very small and cozy. If you like old fashioned medicine then this is the place for you. I have seen patients there. Yes sometimes the wait times vary. Every patient gets there time. whether it be 15 minutes to 30 minutes. Pros: good old fashion healthcare more

legitimate reviewer? 7/20/2009

I saw that this office was hiring, so I came on line to see what I could find out about them. According to these reviews, it looks like a rather toxic place. But then I noticed that the writing style was the same in almost all the reviews. My guess is that this is probably the same person over and over again, who has too much time on their hands. So, while this log of reviews shows a total of 13, I'm thinking there are really only about 3 different people who wrote reviews here. It's a shame that people take adantage of the internet this way. I'll probably send in my resume anyway.\r Pros: wondering Cons: wondering more

cold reception and rude staff 10/18/2008

I feel sorry for the docs that i have to rate this place with one star. In the future, I wish them well, but I am not returning to their clinic anymore. I am done with the rude and unprofessional manner that the front office staff has towards patients that walk in there, as soon as you sign in, you get the feeling like you are just another number and take a seat. The office is like walking into an old 1970's home with the all wood walls and parking is a nightmare, you have to park next door to bartells to get to your appt on time. That one girl there a Medical assistant anmed Candace P. is obnoxious and thinks she knows it all, i am hoping for her sake they let her go. This lady returned my call being extremely rude and scolded me for something i had no control over. I have had better reception from a homeless guy. I don't recommend. Pros: no Cons: no more

not my cup of tea 10/10/2008

Woah, worst experience ever. Rude medical billing staff in the front. the wait is long, even if you get there on time. Why would they hire so many incompetant people there? The staff turnover is high and Candace is rude, just to affirm from a post I have read. I had to change my family doctor because they are very unprofessional there, its mind boggling to still see them there after many negative encounters with the incompetant staff. If they would just fire them all and re hire new medical assistants I would reconsider going there again. It is an inconvenience to me to go 10 miles out of my way when they are practically next door to me, that is the only reason I chose them. They talk about patient's medical history and charting information within ear shot of the lobby. Do they not know what HIPPA is? Probably not. Pros: nah Cons: all more

Is it really that bad? YES! 10/10/2008

yes, I had to experience this clinic on my own time, and even though the previous review before me was negative I chose to take it with a grain of salt and see for myself. I actually responded to one of their online ad's because they were looking for a new Medical Assistant so I got the chance to interview with them. Them, being Holly and Candace. It was the strangest clinic I have seen, very dark and cold feeling, the staff was not better. I was told by Holly afterwards, she would, ""get back to me."" Jump to a month later, and no one had called me back with a yay or nay. I took it upon to email them thanking them for the interview, but also noted that I was disappointed that although I was waiting for them to get back in touch with me, I have chosen employment elsewhere. I get this nasty, unprofessional email back about a week later (they seem to like to wait things out!) from Candace, and she not also called ME unprofessional for the simple fact that I had suggested that they should perhaps in the future let the people they interview know if they have a job or not, (after all, I have had lots of notifications with yes or no), and she berated me verbally, and also threatened that ""the health community was a small one, and I had better be careful about what I say because people talk"". Candace also threatened to contact my school and 'let them know what kind of student they have""..which is fine, because I already graduated and they won't care what she says. Does she know her words can be taken as a threat to slander my name? Isn't that what she basically implied? If you want to be treated with respect and dignity, and like your doctor's office to be employed with professional and knowledgable staff that won't use slander or libel when they don't agree with you, I would NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!!! Oh and the parking is limited too if you care about getting to your appointments on time, which speaking of on time, they were very late on seeing me for my interview. shame more

Just for the money 6/9/2008

The office is a cold dark place. The Dr's are just pill pushers. They will get you in and out. With your arms Full of pills. This is a great place to get what you need. In Pills! No help! Just pills and more pills. They just don't really give you what you really need. Help. They just don't care about People. Cash is what they really care about. Just look at what the Doctors are driving. Pros: Get all the pills you want Cons: Don't help you get off the pills they got you on more

My Kids like these Doctors !!! 5/29/2008

Good experience and I have been going to this clinic for years. The staff has always been professional , and It doesn't hurt when I get my flu shot ! I've never had any problems with the bookkeepers and think they have done a good job when I've had questions on my bill. Pros: Friendly staff Cons: Sometimes we have to wait but it's worth the wait more

Not the small town doctor's office feel...More like the frustration of Junior High School 3/20/2008

I'm not surprised to find the reviews are about the rude billing people. Most people these days expect to have problems with your Insurance Company when filing claims. I was left a message by a billing person, from Inglewood Family Health, that I was asking them to commit fraud by filing my insurance claim properly. Four different people at my insurance company told me the doctor's office was filing the claim wrong. One of those people, from the insurance company, called the doctors office and left a message. The doctor's office never responded back. I've spent a whole week with this matter. People need to be responsible for their professionalism. If we all move on with our busy life's and not take time to correct the wrongs I guess we get what we get. \r \r By the way, I am a medical professional. I know what clinical history means and this is what the insurance company is needing for a claim. I deal with this all the time in my work. A diagnoses is something that is proven. more

Horrible service 2/2/2008

The billing department has the nastiest attitude, and worst ethics I've ever experienced. These idiotic women think they have a right to read confidential medical information because they ""are in a medical building"", yes, that is what they told me. They are extremely immature and unprofessional, and of course when I ask them not to read my personal doctor's notes, they tell me that they're going to hang up on me. Save your patience, don't go here. Pros: My doctor is nice Cons: I'll never go back there because of my experience with the billing dept. more

Good doctors, bad billing 11/2/2007

While the doctor's at this office deserve 5 stars, the billing department's service and attitude is terrible. Pros: Wonderful doctors I'd gladly return to Cons: Rude billing staff with poor service more
