a level one sex offender works at that location, he was charged with communication with a minor for immoral purposes- although he was accused of rape- and this all occured at the previous salon he worked at. when the victim comfronted the manager about why he was allowed to work in such an environment she told her to get a life. His name is Dominic Hicks.

I went here for a pedicure while my husband was at his bachelor party and I wasn't too impressed with this place. The hotel is very beautiful and very scenic views but I wasn't pampered during my visit. For the price of the spa pedicure, I expected more than just the typical polish procedure but I was disappointed. There wasn't much "spa" to the whole service. If you are looking for pampering, I would find another spa.

Jacque ("Jackie") at CR Hair Design is tops. She's great with color and cuts and has a great personality to keep you entertained while you get beautiful. She does both men's and women's hair, and I've recommended her to many friends who rave about her as well.
Some of the other stylists there, Lloyd & Casey, are also top-notch.
CR takes walk-ins, but call for an appointment if you want to get Jacque -- she's usually booked!

I really liked this salon when I went in. They are really friendly and the place has an interesting atmosphere. The hair stylists were very talkative and seemed to be interested in service. I thought the price was excellent for the quality of the cut I got. I was very happy with my experience. Parking is good and there is usually no wait.

I had my hair done for my wedding at this salon. The stylist did an incredible job on my hair and helped make my wedding day perfect. A different stylist at the salon did updos for my two bridesmaids, and their hair was wonderful, too. One of my bridesmaids had very short hair, and yet the stylist still managed to get it up into the perfect updo!
After that experience, I went back for a cut. I went to the same stylist, and she did a fabulous job. I had 11 inches of hair cut off, and not only did she make my hair look great, but she also made it low-maintenance and gave me some good tips.
They also do color and makeup at this place, I believe. The atmosphere is great and all the stylists are very friendly and professional.

Nails & Spa is tucked away in the shopping center by Petco on NE 85th St. in Kirkland. The family who runs this unassuming little shop does a fantastic, inexpensive job on nails.
Their spa chairs with massagers are a great way to sit back & relax while they pamper your feet and hands. Great mini-massages on your legs & arms are a treat here, and they don't skimp on massage time. You will typically have two people working on you at once, so you'll feel like Dorothy in Oz!
A manicure & pedicure run $32, with "extras" like French or American manicures and nail designs costing an extra $5.
They also offer waxing services, and while I've never tried them, I understand those leave a bit to be desired.
Walk-ins are welcome; however, Saturdays can be a bit busy. They'll do whatever they can to accomodate you, though, and have even gone to get a technician from one of their other shops for me once! How's that for service?
A great spot for both men's and women's nail care needs!

Sandy Scott's services were referred to me as "the best massage ever!" And indeed she lived up to the hype.
I've had relaxing massages given by Sandy, who goes from head to toe. The atmosphere of her office is so calming. She also has performed therapeutic massages for sore muscles which have done wonders.
Acupressure, Reiki, Sports & Pregnancy Massage are also listed as part of her specialties.

I went to Win Nails to get my nails done before a summer vacation my family and I went on and they were very friendly and accomodating, since a big lot of us wanted to be worked in on one day. (And they could put up with our harsh east coast style joking) The service was about average.I havent had a lot of experience with nail salons, but there was nothing to complain about, but the people really were quite friendly and the feet massages were wondeful!

If all the chemicals that go into building a hair salon freak you out just a little bit, consider Viridis. It's built with environmental concerns in mind - cork floors, sunflower-seed work stations.
They offer the same services any typical salon does, and have excellent stylists (mine trained with Vidal Sassoon), but with just a little cleaner, more pure experience.
I've been going there about seven years now, and have drastically fewer bad hair days as a result.

Out of all the places I have gone for hair color this is one I keep going back to. Marc Zanetto is slightly pricey compare to chain hair salons, but less expensive than most private ones. The stylists have a very big selection of colors and will mix them on the spot. They have organic products if you wish. My hair is never streaky and always looks balanced after a visit. Believe it or not, I have yet to get my hair cut here.
