I have been going here for 3 years now and getting my color with Brittney. She is the best at blonde! I would highly reccomend her. Not to mention she has an adorable personality.

I went straight from Bikram (hot) yoga (after showering!) to get my hair cut at Holly James Salon for the first time. I had a deep conditioning treatment done first and was seated under a hair dryer for 15 minutes. By the time I was finished, I was thoroughly overheated (not their fault; I asked for a deep condition). But, when I went to have my hair rinsed, there was no hot water! My stylist was mildly apologetic but didn't seem very surprised. The water was ice cold. This, on top of a very hot scalp, was incredibly uncomfortable and painful. I have never had this happen anywhere else and won't go back again. more

Great Experience! 1/28/2010

I went to the Holly James Salon for a trim recently on a recommendation from a friend. I was greeted by Lacy, my stylist. She spent time reviewing with me my hair type and face structure regarding what cut would not only look good but what was best for my life style. What a pleasant and relaxing afternoon. Time and monely well spent. I am very gratefule for the amount of time and tips she gave me on the care of my new hair cut. GREAT JOB LACY. SEE YOU SOON! more

Love this place! 1/4/2010

Just got my hair done again and once again Hope did an AMAZING job! I have been going to her for 3+ years and have never had a bad cut,color,wax,brow or lash tint! In fact I have 5 of my own clients that I have sent to her that love her as well! I highly recommended this place to every one!They are a great group of people with great service! more

What a waste 1/2/2009

I thought I would try this salon and made an appointment with Hope. I didn't know she was the apprentice. I knew I was in trouble when she went to ask someone else whether she should use a razor or sissors for the style I wanted. My hair is a mess! The right side has a big hole in it and doesn't look anything like the left. She didn't cut the front portion of my hair and I had to go home and cut that myself. I cannot wait until it grows out so I can go somewhere else to get it fixed. I gave her a nice tip even though I was not happy with the cut and she didn't even say "Thank you". I will not go back to this salon. more

Outstanding cutting, styling, and coloring by Jill at the Holly James Salon.. 8/11/2008

My wife and I are very pleased with the hair treatments we get from Jill at the Holly James Salon. She does an outstanding job on color, styling, and cutting for Cynthia and cuts my hair in the short professional style I prefer. She's the very best, friendly, conscientious, and professional in all of her appointments. If you want to get her talking just ask her about her dogs Lexi and Riley. Seems like we've known her all of her life. The salon is convenient to other attractions in the surrounding Parkplace Center, i.e, shopping, movies, and the various eateries. We frequently have lunch or take in a movie after our appointments. Pros: Jill's coloring is the best. Location is great. Cons: None more

Owner Holly is wonderful and SO friendly! Brittany is AWESOME---sincere, polite, and talented. Hope is their up-and-coming fantastic apprentice/stylist. A hair appintment with any of these 3 will leave you feeling like a MILLION BUCKS! Try the other services the salon offers: waxxing, eyelash extensions, etc. You will not be disappointed! Plan on spending more than the normal amount of time for your appointment because they REALLY pamper you and of course, that takes extra time. This salon is peppy, upbeat, and has a rockin' great staff. Excellent--could do without the on-site pooch however! The "Holly James" experience is a craving you won't want to deny----so call 'em---we ALL deserve this treat! more

Awesome place to have your hair done 5/14/2008

I used to work at Holly James doing massage... so saw the place from the inside out. All the girls who worked there last year are still there, that's a good sign in this industry! After moving nearly an hour away still come back to get my hair done. Brittany is wicked with cuts (I know Holly is too but haven't had her personally--only seen good things and rave reviews from clients) and Hope is still training but does a great job on my color. The girls there are really nice and friendly, down to earth, unique for Kirkland and the Eastside, and pull off classy and stylish modern looks, very professional. There are millions of places to go to get your hair done, I like Holly James because it's a small unique female run business and they do high quality work in a cheerful, upbeat manner. Best Color and Cut Ever! 2/25/2008

I had the best color and cut ever! I have incredibly difficult hair to cut and have been looking for someone who can really impress and I found it in Holly. THE BEST "SMALL SPA" I've EVER EXPERIENCED! 5/15/2007

I was generously greeted with hot tea and a smile, as I was guided back to the "LITTLE SPA" hidden behind a curtain, just out of the way of the hustle and bustle of the busy hair salon. I experienced an expert pedicure then gingerly whisked away to my massage. After an hour vacation, I was guided to my Facial room. This was the end of my "LITTLE SPA - DAY EXPERIENCE" but was BY FAR THE BEST I've ever experienced. All Clinitions were exceptionally trained and educated in their field. They worked synergistically together to make my experience wonderful.... This was a pleasant suprise, and I'll definately be back. My wife and I will always HIGHLY RECOMEND the Holly James "SPA" & Salon to anyone. Now to just experience the hair treatments. I Just can't wait! Pros: The Spa was like a "SUPRISE" tucked away in a bustling Salon...VERY CLEAN, VERY SANITARY. Cons: It was a little noisy, but, as I began to relax, I didn't hear it at all. more
