Dr H has saved me. Although he comes across as rather an intellectual and not the ""cozy"" type of therapist I've had in the past, he is amazing at what he does and uses almost an eastern philosophy when giving advice. He has given me points of logic which, for the first time in my career as a patient for anxiety and depression, I have actually kept a journal of. They are almost mantras to me now. Dr H has a way of making you not take things as seriously as you are at the moment, stepping back and realizing how you've spun something into something it may not actually be. He has a great, dry sense of humor. He's also great to talk you thru stuff on the phone when you can't make it in. After 20 yrs of therapy and almost as many therapists, he has been the best I've had. This being said, I'm only giving him 4 stars cause I want him to be able to fit me in for appts still...
Pros: he's good at what he does!!! He is extremely smart, funny and interesting to talk to
Cons: OK, I've had some issues w med management, ""bedside manner""--not the most ""sensitive"" guy I've met
