I called for a cab to meet my girl friend at a papa johns in lakeville. it was supposed to meet her at 2:55 P.M. It never showed. I called the company and after being on hold for about 15 minutes and finally speaking to someone about it they told me it had already arrived there ""waited for 15 minutes then had to leave"" She was 4 minutes early and stood outside and never saw the cab. Even though they repeated the address back to me and it was correct. I decided to just go pick her up. I also decided this is the LAST cab company I will ever call. more

Green and white Taxi have the most horrific people working for them in both customer service/ on phones, and drivers. I tried to get a cab the other day and the whole terrible experience almost made me break down.My 1st call to them I was greeted by one of the rudest nasty sounding people I have encountered on a phone service. Yelled at me because I had not memorized the address of the place I needed to make a quick stop at on my way to my final stop. It was only 3 blocks away from the final address and I felt I could tell the driver, ""ok stop here for a minute please"" but she actually yells at me.Also yells at me because I ask her how long the wait will be! Standard question, everyone probably would ask, and she gets an attitude. Like I was some sort of small child who was disobeying her direct orders or some insane thing! Then she sighs and acts all put out, as she takes my info and order. Claimed I will have a 20 min wait. Okay, so I wait. No taxi showed up. I call again and she tells me it is ANOTHER 20 min. I wait. No taxi. I call a third time and ask her, so are there any drivers IN this area? Or did you simply tell me this? She leaves the phone for five seconds at best, returns and tells me she spoke to a supervisor (Not possible in five seconds)and no ones in the area) and will not be for hours. I had waited already nearly a full hour, standing in a grocery store doing nothing, holding foods that were quickly spoiling because I had been lied to. People in the store staring at me as if I were just there to try and steal something or loiter. It was horrible.Now that I have read comments from others about how this company regards short fares as worthless, which by the way is completely NOT okay-people need to go short distances often, and might find some repeat customers if this company would stop being RUDE and self important all the time. I was forced to call a different taxi company and order a cab from them instead. They showed up, too and within 20 minutes. However by that time, due to green and whites dishonesty, I had ruined 70 dollars worth of foods, which I cant afford to replace&wasted an hours time while in a hurry, and gotten yelled at twice, lied to three times, and accused of loitering by store owner, (who just could not believe that I was simply just there waiting that long for a taxi).I was so upset I just wanted to get home and be alone. The folks who say this company gave them excellent service, must have gotten lucky, or spoken to a far more competent phone person? All I can say is this was about as FAR from excellent service I have encountered all year. It is right up there with waiting on hold for 73 minutes,to speak to a Govt. agency like social security, or something.The only way I would ever call these people again, would be if all other companies went out of business forever. more

The worst, least competent, least courteous service possible. Avoid them like the plague. I'd put ""0"" stars if the system would allow it. more

Wonderful Service 4/19/2011

I lost my wallet on a busy Saturday night in Uptown Minneapolis, and thought I had left it in the taxi- I called the service and they were very helpful, sent out a message to all the drivers and told me to call the lost and found on Monday if I hadn't heard back that night. I called Monday- and still nothing..Tuesday I got a call from a very helpful woman who informed me my wallet was turned in-with cash still in it! Very honest and respectable people- i will be calling them again for sure! more

Great service 3/26/2010

I hopped in a green & white cab downtown minneapolis last week and was surprised. It was clean, smelled nice, the driver was very friendly and helpful, it didn't cost me much to go back to bloomington, and after I left my phone in the cab I thought it was gone forever. I called in to their headquarters and they got it back to me in a couple hours. I will definitely be using them again. Pros: Fast, easy, good price more

On time when you need them to be 3/25/2010

I've used multiple cab companies and after being stranded and missing my flight with the others I called green &white after my friend told me what good service they've had with them. Well, I've been calling ever since. The great thing about this company is that you can actually call a day or two ahead of time and schedule it to come pick you up. I don't know about you but when I'm getting ready to go out of town, I don't have time to worry about calling a cab. They're always on time, and usually they're even early! I can't recommend this company enough. Pros: On time, polite Cons: none! more

Best taxi service in the twin cities 3/25/2010

I called and placed an order with the one of the friendliest call takers I've ever spoken with, the cab only took 5 minutes to get to my house! And the driver was really courteous and didn't take me around the city to jack up my fare like those guys at yellow cab. I love this company and I'll never go back to yellow cab again!!! Green and White is one of the largest fleet of cabs in Minnesota. Localy owned has grown and passed others for some good reasons. Pros: Time calls are sent out 20 min in advance more

A lady took my call. She was very RUDE. When I gave her the pick up address, she asked me if I am at that location. I said I will be there at 10:30 and please send the cab by 10:30. Then she said, call after reaching the location. I did so. And then she asked,'Are you working there?' I can't share those things!. Cons: Everything. Rude more

Green & White Won't Show Up 12/7/2009

The fun started with the lady who took my initial call for a pickup at my local light-rail station. She spoke very fast in one-word questions (bordering on rude) so in spite of a clear phone connection, I had to ask her to repeat every question 2-4 times. Cons: Unethical practices more

Don't pay with a credit card 10/14/2008

Being in downtown MLPS on a Saturday night after clubs close it is really hard to find a cab. I was finally able to find one. The cab driver drove HORRIBLY, took an extra long route to my home even tho I kept telling him which way to go to make the trip shorter. I paid with my credit card and was going to give him a tip in cash. When he looked at the credit card slip, he got angry over me not writing in a tip. I gave him a few bucks and got out. Today I looked at my online banking and the cab company double charged my card. I called the company to complain and have them reverse one of the charges and I am getting no luck at all. I will NEVER use this cab company again. Cons: EVERYTHING more

Most reliable , top of the line 8/11/2008

Clean full sized cars and vans, neat well groomed polite drivers. Computer dispatched and most have gps. Pros: Easy to spot, on time more
