Not enchanted 12/13/2002

I've gone to this restaurant at least three times a year since they have opened. 12/13/02 was an extreme disappointment. Although food was ok, restaurant was filthy: sticky (carpeted) floors, broken glass in partition, old food under ""table"", and the crowning moment, a 3 inch piece of metal filing in my fried rice. Guess I shouldn't complain-they took the buck fifty off my 120.00 bill. With similar restaurants opening, I don't think I'll go back to Goten... Pros: wonderful valets Cons: filthy more

A great Place! Beats Kobe's 8/16/2002

Try the Sword Fish, and it is alot better than Kobe's on price, food and atmosphere. Your just paying for the Kobe name I guess. As the cook puts the food on your plate, he comes back around and keeps putting more and more and more food on! I made 3 meals out of $22! Cant beat that! Miso soup is always great! And the Green Tea ice cream is a fav! Everyone go! Pros: HIBACHI!, Great price, Intimate Cons: Parking not free more

Just OK!! 6/22/2002

This was my favorite japanese restaurant years ago..I went back after a few years and was most disappointed..food OK, service not even entertaining..actually took someone for their first habachi try and was a little embarassed as i had talked it up..Ill go to KOBE next time. Even the sushi wasn't as good as I had remembered..Ill stick to KEN's now for sushi. They lost me unless I hear improvement and a complete turn around by the nashville community. more
