Not so good! 10/31/2013

Since the new owner took over Goofy's has changed a lot for the better. They've spruced up the place. Hired some new kitchen staff. So with that said I have to say that Goofy's is a great place to go with good times and great food. $5 burger and fries on Fridays is a awesome deal! Callie and the other bartenders make it obvious that their there to make sure you have a good time! more

Great place to hang out! 5/31/2008

I recently went to goofy's bar and grill for no good reason, just to meet up with some friends that had good things to say about the place. We arrived a little after seven so it was right during a busy dinner rush....the staff handled it like pros. We ordered food, which was awesome and also played a little pool. I think my favorite part about Goofy's, is that they treat everyone as if they know them, like family. I will definately be back again and again! more

Yes and No 1/8/2008

A sports bar in Seattle seems to be a rare thing, so Goofy's is a nice find. A couple of years ago business was slow, then it picked up soon after to become something of a gangster-crowd haven, and now it seems like it is straight off the peninsula or out of Tacoma when observing the jeans and baseball cap crowd ranging from 21 to 71. There is a lot of good things about the place and some bad. \r Stopping in after a big Seahawks win last week in the playoffs they had one bartender working for the entire bar/restaurant (with probably 65-70 people), so patience was required, though she was fantastic and sweet. The CO2 must have been low - a friend got a vodka soda and the soda was flat, and when she switched to rum and coke the coke was flat - both were happily comped. The White Russian's were tasty and packed a wallop and the beer was nice and cold. The burgers were pretty tasty and the fries were really good. Another woman who'd been sitting at the bar reading decided to put on an apron (maybe her shift was starting), and the attention to our table (of 5) was improved over what was already a great job by an overextended bartender. \r The TV's are clear and there are many - I want to say about a dozen or more. Just about every spot offers a view of the game. The front area is table's and chairs in the bar area (pull-tabs available), and into the back is a game room with more bistro tables and stools surrounding three pool tables with TV's also very nearby. \r Hiring some more folks would greatly improve Goofys, though they don't appear to be hurting for business. Pros: hardworking staff with attention to detail Cons: understaffed (?), drunken sports fanatics (can be a pro sometimes...I guess it is the playoffs) more

A fun place to visit after work 11/20/2006

This is a fun place to play a little pool, grab a few pitchers of beer and some friends to relax after work or after a long week of work. The drinks aren't too bad and there's a decent beer selection, a couple pool tables and some darts and a decent jukebox. It's a pretty fun atmosphere for a local bar in Crown Hill. Pros: Decent bar, food's pretty good, big interior, Cons: Not much else close by more

Forgetful service one really bad cook 10/20/2006

On two recent visits one cook made no real effort to tell the bartender my food was ready, he just kind of wandered off. On the other the fish in my sandwich was as cold as my drink, scary..in both cases the bartender did comp me very nicely but if the cook isn't Chris or Matt eat someplace else. Pros: The bartenders work very hard and are very cool. (hotties too) Lead cook Chris rules, Matts' great too. Cons: If Travis is cooking it'e a 50-50 shot you'll send it back more

City Search has not responded to my request on how to delete my review for several months now.\r \r The review by ""tomatofree"" is so old it's meaningless, based on staff no longer there.\r \r If you write a review here I guess it's here forever as City Search has NO customer service. Pros: 2 stunning bartenders and 1 very hot waitress, yes waitress Cons: Sandwiches to small for the price. more
