I was amazed on food and delivery service so one week ago today I decided to order again this time had issues with delivery so i did a chat line in the end it was resolved so i was happy but come to delivery same man who delivered this week Yelled at my front door because 1. delivery was 5mile out of area 2. Did i forget to mention I paid w credit card so i had no cash with me 3. yelled at me because i didnt have cash for tip..4. My son was in room so when he heard commotion he freaked out and cried out loud...I did yell back saying first i pd last week with ccard didnt have problem with delivery nor my payment of service and today you disrespect a customer not good anyways i called and made complaint the caller said maybe casue i didnt understand his English my reply He yelled clearly and repeated his insults at me more

We found this place last week and really liked it. The service seemed good and the food as well, except for the fried rice. Today we dined here for our second and LAST time. My Mom has a permanent muscular injury in her hand that renders it very difficult to pick things up, grasp, etc. Today she happened to drop her glass onto the table, which the owners put a glass topper on. Of course, the glass shattered. Instead of acting caring, or sympathetic the owner came out and talked with an employee in Chinese and then said ""the glass company says this costs almost $150.00. You pay me $150.00 today and if its lower than that then we will send the difference"". What buffoons! It was an accident that could happen to anyone (and according to an employee DID happen to someone else before). A meal that was supposed to cost probably around $20.00 cost aroud $175-almost $200 and left Golden with a negative review. Most importantly, the glass is innappropriate to be put on a table where familes are going to eat on. How can glass be guaranteed clean, like that? When it broke my child was almost cut and my finger got cut. That glass needs to be replaced with plastic like OTHER restaurants put on theirs. It made us wonder if this is something that they put out on purpose, hoping that someone will drop their glass and can make a dime off of it? more

This is definitely the best chinese food in the area. The lomein is fantastic and the Gen. Tso's actually has red peppers rather than jalapenos, which seems to be annoyingly popular in Houston. I haven't gotten delivery from them yet, but our experience in the restaurant was very pleasant. Servings were generous and the waitress was friendly. We will definitely be going back! more

my husband and i really like this place. we always get it to go/delivery. great food! we have tried it all from veggie, to chicken to beef to fish. all of it is good. definitely would recommend this to anyone in the area. people are nice and food fantastic. also - if you are picky about your chicken - this is the place to get it from - you can order white meat chicken on almost all chicken items. (can't do that in any big places or even chains). Pros: great food, can order white meat chicken Cons: would never know this place is good from the look of the building more

only thing i dislike about this restaurant is it looks run down, and the inside is okay in terms of decor.....but food is decent for fair pricing......nothing to drive out of the way for, but if you're in the area it's not a bad place to go for decent chinese food! more

Maybe I'm the odd man out. I ordered delivery from this place for the first time today, and they took almost an hour to deliver; maybe a sign of their popularity, as I ordred shortly after they started delivering, and the driver had my order as well as 3 others... Crab rangoons and special lo mein were pretty good, but the ""rrack of lamb"" was actually cooked as chops, and arrived well done (who does that?) and bland... From what I could tell, this was pretty run-of-the-mill Chinese delivery fare. Cons: long delivery times, average food more

Work nearby and was looking for a Chinese restaurant and past this one several times cause the outside doesn't look that great, but I went in and was thoroughly, pleasantly surprised! Decor is elegant with pink cloth napkins and very well decorated, clean and staff very friendly and best of all the food is quite good and very, very reasonable. This place has not become a weely lunch spot for me and I take home dinner often! You won't be disappointed. Pros: Great Prices, Friendly staff, Nice Decor Cons: Small parkinglot more

When I first visited this restaurant about 3 months ago, I was astonished by it's elegant interior design (bc the outside looks pretty simple). The food and prices are definitely the best aspects of this cozy place (and also the free delivery service). They have a huge variety of dishes, ranging from authentic Peiking Duck (my family's fave!) to General Tso's Chicken. We also had a dinner party here (nice set-up w/cloth napkins and a large round table) where the staff was very attentive to our needs. This place, nestled in a corner of the Heights, can often be overlooked but I suggest everyone in the area at least give it a try. I love the place and the new owner (it's family-owned, with the sons helping out occasionally). I hope you guys enjoy this place as much as my family does. It's a treat!
