Glb Properties

By far the worst experience I have ever had with a landlord. We had a big rain storm while I was living there, and my roof caved in. My clothes, my computer, my life was swirling in the deluge. It took over 2 weeks to get it fixed, and when it rained again...you guess it...whoosh ceiling one more time. Now I wouldn't complain if GLB had offered to at least split the renters insurance deductible on my possessions, but when asked, the response was ""Well you should have gotten everything out of the way. To make matters worse, when I finally moved out (Yeah, just try and leave your lease early because of these problems...get ready to hear words you can't even imagine) GLB took all of my deposit, claiming the water damage to the floor was my fault. I consider myself a fair reviewer, but this is just ridiculous. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. more

I was transferred by my firm to southern CA from Oregon and was concerned I could not find something with warmth and character like home. There are a few company's that seem to specialize in this type of living and all seem good. I just happened to find my dream apartment from Glb. The experience was and remains good. It's been over 2 years and I hope to stay here for a long time. My advice, don't settle for less than you wish for and I didn't. I highly recommend this company. Thank you Glb. I just had to write a review since this sad murial b. chose to make such a negative review for Glb Properties.My experience was completely the opposite.They were the best landlords I have experienced while living in LA for about 10 years, I've been back in NYC for a year and I am calling them again upon my return shortly and might rent another apartment fromthem. When you rent a 75 or 100 year old apartment one expects to have to put in a window unit, guess what, it's hot even in fancy bevelry hills I wish they had central air in some of the apartments but I don't recall that they advertise any of their places as air conditioned, as I put in a window unit and no problems. no one in my building ever had anything but nice things to say about this company and especially their workers who are the best. They were spot on on every level. I miss my apartment. It was everything I expected and more so, i highly recomend Glb Properties and figure that there is always someone who has a bad day at Disneyland...try renting from someone else in the art deco vintage apartment management business, like the other dave. I sadly rented for 1 year from the other dave, great apartment, bad experience. By the way, a good value for the rent amount, yes higher than some but you get what you pay for, as there a so many bad places in LA, I would not hesitate to call them. try renting from a nice landlord in NYC! and I value my dollar. Pros: Friendly + effective management, recommend, great apartments Cons: more expensive worth it, get what you pay for more
