Bobby is a real man's barber. I say barber because I don't need or want a ""stylist"". It's great if you do, but all I want is a good haircut with some sharp scissors and clippers without it taking a lot of time. If you need a stylist, you can find one there too. Bobby has cut my hair for well over 10 years and I've never had a bad cut or a complaint. They accommodate my busy schedule, and as another reviewer stated, it's a good place for good conversation on a lot of popular topics. You can relax, watch tv, listen to music, drink really good coffee, read a current magazine and a lot more. Real people with real lives and real hospitality. I depend heavily on service industries in my profession so I feel I can adequately and objectively rate any service provider regardless of the product. Besides all this, Bobby is a really good guy. You don't have to question this at all. When you talk to him, you'll know. The staff makes me feel like I'm their favorite customer. That's nice whether I am or not. Check it out. I go here for every cut and color I get. Great quality compaired to most salons I've been to but a cut and color usually comes out clost to $130 including tip. The quality is worth the splurge. I do wish they would update the decore a little but the staff is very friendly and personable so I don't mind it much. I always have a pleasent experience and will contine to go for a good while. I do not recommend going for just a ""style"" because it will be about $50 and they don't offer any bridal packages. I decided to tag along with the wife to where she gets her hair cut, or styled (or whatever women do) because, frankly, I'm a little sick of the variability of haircuts from apathetic ""stylists"" at the big chain places. You know what I mean, sometimes the cuts are fine, sometimes you come home and notice they've missed a big chunk, or two. Tired of that. Back to England's...Bobby ended up cutting my hair, and he was awesome. We talked sports for most of the cut, which turned out great, and in the end it only set me back about 7 dollars more than a haircut at the aforementioned chain. I got the feeling that this is how it is supposed to work. I've been back a couple of times for cuts since and it's always the same great service and cut. I'm sold. There is something for everyone here .The stylist range in all ages and are all very experienced. You get the quality of a high priced salon without the outragous prices. There pricing is comparable to all other salons in the area. All the staff is very educated and attend major hair shows and classes each year. With a great sellection of retail you can find just what you need. I go to Carrie and she is GREAT! more

I have searched for years for someone to treat my natural curly locks with love and care. Carrie is wondeful - she is the only person who has ever cut my hair with expertise and skill! She is great. My mom has started going to see her too - and has not been let down. She drives 45 minutes to get her hair cut by Carrie - and it is worth every minute! more

I had a great experience. Stylist was very helpful with questions. I was inquiring about what I needed to do to have my hair the length and style that I desired for my September wedding. Gary was most helpful and personable. He put me at ease that I was on track for my plans. more

I went to England's for a trim after reading reviews here. My stylist seemingly ignored every bit of instruction I gave her, cutting off 8 instead of 3 inches, razoring my entire head instead of the crown only. She straightened my very curly hair without asking and burned my scalp in the process- now it is peeling- fun! I left 3 messages for the owner and have not received a call back. Good location, and stylists, but expensive. And then the last time I was in there, they told me they were raising the prices again. I guess because of that robust economy, all the inflation we have, and everyone is unemployed, they decide to raise prices.
