My family and I went to El Meson for an early dinner around 3:00 this past Saturday. After circling the restaurant and shopping centers we finally found a space to park right in front of the restaurant (they have Valet later in the evening). My father and I ordered the traditional Paella, my husband had some sort of fish and crab dish in a cream sauce (the menu didn't say anything about a cream sauce) and my dads girlfriend ordered some sort of chicken dish with olives. All were FANTASTIC, I had also heard that they had a very good sangria however they didn't list it on the menu so we asked our waiter. He brought out a massive pitcher, I have to say this was the best Sangria i have ever had, he said their secret was to add brandy to it! The sangria was slightly expensive around $32 for the pitcher but is well worth it and the food was very reasonable for the quality and serving size. The only thing i can say I wasn't impressed with was the salsa that they bring out with chips. It was Okay but nothing to rave about. I have a feeling that this place can get very crowded if you go during peak dinner times, however what we experienced is well worth the wait!!
