Perfect 3/2/2005

Hey, I had a blast at Donatellis. The outside looks a little deceiving, as it is located in a sort of mini-mall area and looks small, but the seats go way back. I love the food, the ambience, the service...I recommend it to any true Italian fans! Pros: Food, Ambience, Price Cons: Location, no reserving a spot more

Mmm... my favorite restaurant! 10/8/2003

Maybe I'm a little biased because I worked here for 7 years, but this place has the best Italian food! Their pizzas and pastas are excellent and you must try the Anti-pasta salad if you go. The best thing is, you can buy the homemade pastas and sauces to bring home to cook later. Most of the staff has worked there a very long time and they're always friendly and helpful. Reservations for larger groups are recommended but most waits on a Friday or Saturday night do not usually exceed 15 minutes for smaller groups... even though the restaurant looks packed, they can get you in quickly! Pros: great food, friendly staff, moderate prices more

NE St. Paul Great Italian 8/22/2002

Home-made sauces, Home-made pasta, Home-Made Sausage, Home-made meatballs. My personal favorite is the Baked spagetti with white sauce (not exactly on the menu) add meatballs or italian sausage (or both) and it is a very satisfying meal even for a big eater like myself. Staff is freindly and service is prompt. Did I say home-made ingredients. Pros: Food made to order, inexpensive, Good sized portions Cons: can be crowded more

Donatelli's has the BEST homestyle Italian food around. The atmosphere is cute and the food is to die for! No matter is you want pasta, pizza, or sandwiches, everything on their menu is tasty. more
