Extremely Positive Experience I brought my defunct guitar workstation/pedal to Deltronics as an authorized Digitech repair center. It was unusable to me and I was devastated. I was greeted by a friendly girl at the counter who took standard information from me and gave me a receipt. I received a call the next day and Jim explained to me what the process was and what to expect. Ultimately, the problem I had never really surfaced while at Deltronics, but Jim worked with it for two weeks, providing me with regular status updates and advice throughout. I know he must have spent time on my unit based on the updates I received, but I wasn't charged anything above the $20 bench fee since he didn't do anything to fix it. It has been working fine since I got it back. In my experience, I would trust Deltronics with my repairs in a heartbeat. I consider Deltronics to be an honest shop based on my case. more

I've had nothing but good experiences with Deltronics...Been there on several occasions...I'm usually a little more personable in my own business...but hey everybody's not like me...They handled my transaction, seamlessly...and my repairs just as well...I'm already planning a return with additional equipment... Probably the worst service experience that I can recall. They banged up my beautiful vintage amplifier, I think they dropped the cabinet while they had it apart. When I pointed this out they denied doing it. I took it home and the electronic "fix" unfixed itself hours later so I had to bring it back to them. This is where is gets ridiculous... I picked it up and it had been damaged AGAIN! I couldn't believe it. And in order to right this wrong, they had (without my permission) put some wood putty in the places where they had smashed or chipped the veneer. It looked laughably bad so I asked for some money to have proper repairs made, but I've gotten nothing but frustration. He told me "sometimes these things happen". They fixed my sensitive and ultra-low distortion Harmon Kardon Citation 16A amp and HK17 pre-amp back to original factory specs. All they're advise was proven to be honest and on the money. I would'nt go anywhere else but Los Angeles or San Francisco, who needs that kind of freight? Pros: All advice good. Cons: A bit of a drive from my house. more

They had my turntable for over 3 months. When I finally went to pick up my turntable they lost my cartridge. I will never go to Deltronics ever again. And they didn?t fix the problem I brought it to them to fix. This place is just horrible! Do not go there! \r \r No Stars more

Avoid Deltronics and take your service elsewhere. Perhaps they could have repaired my broken stereo speakers, but I never got past the front door. Working the counter was an unbelievably rude, dismissive and unwelcoming young woman who left me no choice to but walk right back out the door. This place is right around the corner from my house, literally, and I took my speakers across town to avoid more interaction with such unpleasantry. Can't comment on their technical abililty, which may be the greatest, but can simply say that you'll be happier if you go somewhere else where they'll treat you with respect. Best of luck. more
