Crepe To Go

Do Not Go. I do not want to give even one star. After finding what I wanted from the very confusing menu, the very rude male staff (who hid behind the counter) told me that I actually did not have choice and started cooking ""something"" without washing hands (he was reading a magazine before I came in). I was watching him cook, but he told me not to watch him and go outside. When I asked him if I can watch him cook, he got upset, threw my crepe and told me not to come back to his store. Of course, I have not been back. Cons: rude cook/staff, confusing menu without much choice, cooks without washing hands more

After going to Crepe To Go, I have no desire to have another crepe anywhere. This place turns you off to crepes altogether. The storefront is plastered with signs that complicate the ordering process. When you finally decipher the signs and place your order, you're greeted by a disgruntled and horrifyingly rude man hiding behind the counter. He hides behind signs plastered all over the plastic so that you can't see his face, only his hand that he extends through the plastic to take your money. After putting up with his disgusting attitude, you lose your appetite altogether. Cons: no parking, awful service more

I love crepes, and I just happened to stumble across this small crepe shop after a heavy meal at Hurry Curry. I ordered the crepe with green tea ice cream in it, and it was pretty delicious. My friend got one with nutella and bananas, which was just as wonderful. The place is open 'til late so you can stroll there slowly while digesting your meal (well it's not much of a walk if you're dining at the Sawtelle plaza). However, there are only a few tables outside, so unless you get a seat, you might have to literally take your crepe ""to go."" I was excited to find a crepe place near by. However the crepe was not tasteful with little fillings and the skin was ""uncooked"". I cannot put up with the attitude of the owner. In fact, there was no customer serivce at all!!! The owner was not welcome to his store. U may probably figure it out when you see a small banner in front of the store; ""We will not help anyone who are not ready to order!"" There's a very important distinction to be made between the ""Soup Nutsy"" (of Seinfeld fame: the use of the actual word is not permitted on this forum) and Crepe to Go.\r \r The Soup Nutsy's offerings were GOOD! (So good, in fact, you were willing to put up with any amount of abuse. That was the gag.)\r \r After eating at Crepe to Go (assuming the same situation was behind it, and looking forward to the ?adventure? of ordering a tasty treat), I think the owner?s attitude was probably inspired more by defensiveness. \r \r I read on another review that his attitude came from ?people asking for refunds?. After eating here, unfortunately I now sympathize with such requests.\r \r The sad fact of the matter is that the crepes here are VERY sub-par.\r \r I got the simple crepe with ham and cheese. I have eaten crepes in many places. I have never seen such interesting combinations of ingredients and with such great taste. Mochi and red beans and green tea? Yummy! I highly recommend this place. It is not a restaurant, just get them to go or sit outside in one of the 3 tables. Great crepes, great prices, fresh ingredients. more

i was so excited that a crepe store was opening and i went there and i was so disappointed. It was gross, and he was so stingy about everything and had barely any filling. the owner is quite a character and kinnda creeps me out. Cons: small, not worth it more

Keep your eyes peeled for this hole-in-the-wall. If you blink, you'll miss it. (Here's a trick - look for Volcano Tea - Crepe to Go is two doors down.) But it's well worth the find when you sit down to a delicious crepe with fresh veggies, cheese, or whatever else you crave. Desserts are especially yummy - fresh fruit and chocolate or cinammon and sugar are my personal favorites. It's open late and it's affordable - two things college kids are always on the lookout for.
