Coralville Bay

I've frequented the store in it's old and current locations. The new store is in a better location but is put together much cheaper. I'm a salt water guy and the salt selection is rough. Lots of algea on the tanks and prices are very inconsitant. One week a fish or coral is $19.99 next week it's $35. That is a instant turn off for me. I bought some fresh water fish one day and got electricuted by the cheap jimmy rigged lights. The fresh water selection is the high point. The selection is fantastic. Overall a pretty good store. more

Not a huge fan of the owner. Seems to run off all his good help. Store goes up and down in quality of fish keeping and pricing. Freshwater selection much better than salt. The store should stick to what its good at. For the area it is the best due to a lack of options more

After the flood of 08 Coralville Bay is really getting back on its feet. I frequent the store for fish and supplies every week they seem to have more and more going on. Fish and coral selectioin continue to improve and the employees are full of knowledge and very helpful. Look forward to seeing future improvements more

Coralville bay is my favorite fish store. It is the only place we buy our fish. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable of many varieties of fish and products. We have had some problems with losing some of our fish lately and they were extremely helpful. It is a quaint place with great selections. If ever in the area, you should definitely check it out. more

I must admit I am a bit spoiled, I usually frequent another store of this type, but I was in a hurry the other day and this one was on my way so on a whim I swung into the parking lot and decided to give it a try. I was immediately struck with the cool interior, and the nice array of fish. I'm glad my youngest wasn't with me though, there is a tank with fish from NEMO in it and he would have been enthralled. They didn't happen to have the exact item I wanted but had a suitable substitute, so I purchased it and was out the door in less than 15 minutes. It's a nice store....clean./....nice personnel and a cute Nemo display. If you are in the need for "fish stuff" as we call it in our house, you might want to give this place a try.......it's pretty nice more

Located on a busy highway. They have their own parking lot. The employees are extremely knowledgeable about fish and fish care. They are more than happy to assist you. All of the fish are healthy and the tanks are set up very nicely. Fun to just walk around and look. They even have a tank set up with fish from Finding Nemo. more

What a great fish store to visit. I have been given advice and assistance regarding my own fish and tank. The employees are very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. They offer advice without making you feeling stupid. The fish at this store are healthy. Great selection to choose from. The filtration systems are really good as well. more
