Clay Platte Family Medicine Clinic

I moved to Kansas City from Lawrence & just needed a primary care physician. Clay Platte Family Medicine is the worst! Long wait times, I am not even checked in till 15-20 min after my appointment time and usually much longer. I have waited up to 45 min after my appointment time to even be checked in. If you are even 10 min. late and call ahead they will NOT see you. But it is fine for them to be late. Their front desk staff are rude and interrupt when you are trying to talk, ask questions, & set up an appointment. They are clearly rushing you off the phone. If you need lab work you will wait a long time I waiting another 45 minutes to have blood drawn & people were called before me when they were seated after me. My nurse was even shocked. The doctors are great, but with the horrible customer service from setting up the appointment, to getting checked in, to the lab, and the LONG wait times you need an entire day to deal with these people. NOT WORTH IT. Do yourself a favor, save yourself some time and find somewhere else to go. I am certain there are other good doctors in the Kansas City area that also have good staff and customer service. more

I saw Dr. Delaney for the first time this week. The visit was just for a cold but I was in and out very quickly. His nurses were knowledgable and professional. Dr. Delaney took time to get to know me a bit and I plan to have him as my primary doctor from know on. The office building he is in is great. Pros: Very knowlegable, quick visit, great office Cons: none, the visit was great more
