Dr. Yahav is the Best dentist and dental surgeon I know. I came in having had major trouble with a tooth that had been through an abcess, infection, root canal and a crown - and still I had tremendous ache and pain. Dr, Yahav went right to the heart of the matter and realized the gums surrounding the crown were getting inflamed. He immediately recommended gum resection surgery to solve the problem. The procedure was smooth and as painless as can be. I have to say, I am much much better now. It was terrific the way he realized the problem and solved it in a very professional way. I have had many problems in the past with my bite. A feeling of the teeth not being in alignment, which is distracting. Several dentists have tried to take some action, but nothing worked. Dr. Yahav analyzed the situation, and immediately realized that another crown was too high. He took care of it promptly, decisively and correctly. What a relief! Now, I have had three dental implants put in by Dr. Yahav, with more to come. Again, his work was smooth, professional and as pain-free as can be. He is an expert. I recommend him to anyone who wants professional dental surgery by someone who really cares and does a real good job. The Best. more

I have visited all 3 locations on various occasions- all are easily accessible. The Water Tower location allows for shopping- a pleasant distraction. He explains procedures before performing them which I appreciated because I like to know what is going on and to feel prepared. His staff was very friendly at both locations. Dr. Yahav is an Invisalign provider and that is how I found out about him. I have completed my Invisalign treatment and I am happy with the results. He is up to date with technology and procedures in the dental field. more

Dr. Yahav came highly recommended from Rush University Medical Hospital in Chicago as an excellent Dr. for the treatment of TMJ. After a serious accident in March of 2009, one of the problems I suffered from was severe headaches and whiplash due to head trauma. After a thorough exam by Dr. Yahav, he explained that my jaw socket was actually dislocating each time I moved my mouth and that my upper jaw had actually shifted forward from the impact of the motor vehicle accident. After grinding off various teeth to help realign my mouth I was fitted with a custom built mouth appliance to wear twenty-four / seven. Within hours I felt relief. Although I still suffer from the headaches occasionally, the appliance Dr. Yahav crafted and Dr. Yahav's follow up expertise have made a huge difference in how I am progressing to recovery. I cannot thank Dr. Yahav enough and his great staff who have always been so kind and accommodating to me. more

The staff was really friendly and the doctor was very supportive with my concerns, as he soon discovered my fear for the dentists. Once everything was explained to me, he proceeded with the extraction, making this process incredibly fast and painless. I advice people who likes things done fast on trying Dr. Yahav, because he will discuss and explain the medical procedure before performing any surgery. more

When I went to Dr. Yahav's office I was scheduled to have my teeth cleaned and have a few fillings replaced. The office was very nice so that put me at ease while waiting (only about 10mins) for my work to get done. When it was all said and done I was very pleased with the work he did. I will probably go there again if I need any more work done. more

I recently went to Dr. Yahav to have my teeth cleaned. He was very quick and very thorough and my teeth felt squeaky clean. I was in and out in no time which I loved especially since I hate sitting for long periods of time. Although quick, he was very conscientious to make sure that I was doing O.K. He only mentioned that I needed one filling replaced but didn't push me to have it done right at that moment, just that it was something for me to think about. Luckily, I have great teeth thanks to the years of braces I wore as a kid. My hygienist, Kimberly, was a sweetheart and walked me through the whole process of flossing my teeth which can be difficult since I have a permanent retainer on the back of my bottom teeth. I know the reviews are mixed, but I had a great experience. more
