Neighborhood Icon 1/20/2007

Has everything, deli sandwiches, and excellent wine selection, name it. This is not your normal convenient store. I live three blocks away and you?ll find me there at least once a day. Sure the prices might be slightly higher than the average big box grocery store but for the convenience the prices cannot be beat. The staff could not be friendlier. Say hello to Rick for me. more

The best sandwich selection! 1/11/2007

I love this place. I get my hair done at Rockit salon around the corner and afterwards I always stop in for a sandwich and cookie. I highly recommend the chicken salad. Yum! Pros: Large selection, reasonable priced, great location. more

Great little ""old time"" neighborhood market!! 7/17/2006

I live nearby and shop here all the time. They have incredible diversity of stock and it's such a charming market. The wide range of items is amazing. Staff could be friendlier and prices are high, but that's the only criticism I have for this great neighborhood icon. Pros: Great diversity of stock, deli in back, great wine selection Cons: High prices more

This place is so awesome. I think I have had at least 100 sandwiches from this store since they started making them. Great staff, great wine, great food selection! This place has really turned into a unique gem when it was bought and transformed by the new owners. Neighborhood friendly market with all you need to make breakfast, lunch, or dinner, write a paper, nurse a head ache or feed your animals. You must stop in a check them out! Pros: Great selection, food and wine. Great parking, friendly staff. Cons: There is only one of them! more

Best Kept Secret 12/13/2005

This is the best Market in all of Atlanta. From the outside it looks like your typical convenience store (the new mural is nice), but on the inside, its a true find. Not only is this a fully-stocked grocery store, but they also have the best wine selection Ive found in Atlanta. The store owner is around most of the week, and he knows everything about wine and can steer you in the right direction. More importantly, the prices cant be beat. And after youve made your wine selection, stop in the back of the store and have them make you a fresh deli sandwich. They have high-end meats and cheeses and all the fixings you could wish for. My personal favorite is the Roast Beef with Cheddar, Onions and BBQ sauce on Market-fresh bread. Personal service, great selection, old-school charm, and great prices. What more can ask for? Great Store 5/20/2002

Oh man, what to say about this store. I just can't believe hom much quality stuff they're able to pack into this little market. And while the groceries are grand, the wine is the real draw. An incredible selection of quality bottles and someone is always available to share a recommendation. I wish I still lived right across the street!
