Great place to play pool 8/20/2005

California Billiard Club at 881 E El Camino Real in mountain View is a great place to play pool. It is conveniently located near 85 and el camino real. They have way too many pool tables so there is never a wait. I often take my colleages here to play. They provide all the equipment. While you are playing, waitresses will come by to accept meal orders. They even serve you meals while you are playing. They serve many different types of beer. more

Perfect for Parties or After-Work Outings 8/5/2005

I went here for an after-work outing and it was tons of fun. I think this place would be ideal for birthday parties. The location is rather large and could probably fit more than a hundred people in easily. We played at an hourly rate for about 15 bucks. They also have plenty of TVs to watch any sports event. This place would also be an ideal sports bar to watch football games. Not to mention the place has a bar and grill sort of cafe. While I was there a large number of people turned up and the atmosphere was fairly active and social. Highly recommend it as an after-work hangout. more

Good Clean Fun 7/16/2005

It’s just a big rectangle-shaped room filled with pool tables, but it can be a lot of fun if you enjoy billiards, and go here with friends. You have to leave an ID at the desk to get a rack of balls. (Your ID is given back to you when you return the balls and pay your tab.) Wait Staff come around to the individual pool tables to see if you’d like drinks or snacks. (Remember to tip.) It’s located right near a decent steakhouse, so you can make an evening of it. more
