If you're a big fan of Boba then you'll enjoy this local mountain view cafe. This cafe not only offers a wide variety of flavors for Boba but they also different home made desserts. There is also several flavors of ice cream available. There is plenty of seating inside and a widescreen LCD panel TV allows you to sit back and watch while you enjoy your tea. There is also seating outside on several sets of tables. With a purchase you may also be able to use their wi-fi internet access point so you can browse the internet while you're there. It's an overall relaxing place to be in on a hot day.

Acme Bread is sold in fine supermarkets around town and also at the Mountain View farmer's market every Sunday (very fresh and at great prices!). Acme makes the best sourdough, the crust is chewy and the bread is soft but dense. We love having a large loaf in the house for sandwiches and toast. The herb slab bread is also wonderful for sandwiches or paninis. You really can't go wrong with any of the breads, you'll never buy at the supermarket again!

Le Boulanger is a wonderful addition to downtown Mountain View. They are primarily a bakery, but also sell fresh sandwiches and salads. The sandwiches are decent, what really shines in them is the bread. Le Boulanger makes fresh bread daily, including a wonderful sourdough. In addition to bread they sell a variety or yummy sweet treats like croissants, bear claws and muffins. Perfect for a snack or lunch.

It seems like there are a million bagel shops in town but the House of Bagels has always stood out as having fantastic bagels and great service. They have the usual varieties of bagels plus mini bagels which my toddler son loves. My favorite is the cheddar cheese bagel, which has a nice topping of chewy cheese on top. They also sell several flavors of cream cheese and will make sandwiches to order. If you buy a dozen bagels the 13th is free. I buy them buy the dozen and freeze them at home, they defrost really well.

Verde offers a wide variety of Asian drinks and snacks. Their tapioca milk tea is about the same as any other café but the blended ice drinks are great. There's a big plasma TV in the café showing MTVs, concerts and movies. They offer tables and chairs (both indoor and outdoor), magazines, board games, as well as free WiFi access. Drinks and snacks are good in general but a little over-priced. This place gets crowded in the summer and especially on the weekends.

I'm usually a big fan of meat stuffed buns but all of their buns were either too stale or salty. I thought it might have been a deviant bun but the taste was consistent upon all of them. They tend to keep their baked goods in the window a little bit longer than they should be. They could at least offer these stale goods at a discounted price.
