Love this place: great coffee. friendly staff, great coffee, great vibe, great coffee, live music weekends, gc. Bring a notebook or a real book and hang out for a while, or grab and go.
As for the uncool old folk who wrote the other review, bet I'm older and more uncool than you ;-> Dunno what happened, maybe the counter-person had a bad day. But for me the staff there does whatever it takes to make ya happy and has no 'tude. Relax, don't worry about them looking funny, and they'll do the same ;-

This Safeway is in a good location and is one of the better Safeway's. It has great products and there is even a Starbucks in it. I just wish the bakery was a little bit better and there weren't so many express lines!
