Bad Service 11/13/2014

Terrible Car Buying Experience I would not buy a car from Burien Chevrolet, I just purchased a vehicle and after driving it for five days I found a malfunctioning item on my car that was manipulated to seem as it was working properly for the sale of the vehicle. Not even five days after I purchased the vehicle did the part start to malfunction. I returned to the Burien Chevrolet to have a few items that were broken and not found during their Certified Pre Owned Check List. (I would question that check list) I informed Burien Chevrolet of the problem of the manipulated item that was starting to malfunction, I was told they were not going to cover the whole cost of replacing the item, and told by Tony (GM) the follow. It’s not in their margin to cover it, they have done enough, and best of all, I should have found it when I was buying the vehicle and asked for more before I purchased it. Tony then proceeded to tell me he’s a “numbers guy” and that’s just not in his numbers…. Burien Chevrolet, I did look for the malfunctioning part before I purchased the vehicle, but when someone manipulates an item to hide it, it’s hard to ask “for more” I would not spend my Christmas money with Dealership. more

Buy Chevy--but Avoid These Guys 10/24/2012

Took my Subaru WRX in--they offered to buy it from me for $2500. I stuck to my guns and they grudgingly came up to $5500, insisting that was all it was worth. Keep an eye out for their negotiating tactic--they like to run the VIN through AutoFact without telling you, and then quiz you to try and catch you in a lie. I think they do this for sport, and because they think it puts them in a negotiating advantage. But they won't admit that's what they do--so just be aware that that is the game played here. After being dicked around by these guys I posted it on Craigslist--within hours it was sold for $8000. Do yourself a favor and sell your used vehicle yourself, or at any other dealership, but definitely sell it through these guys if you like getting a really bad deal. And don't forget to check your glove compartment for your registration as you drive away--they've got no procedure to ensure it's there, and actually like that as a "hook" to get you to come back the next day. By the way, I actually do like my new Chevy Volt. I got exactly the vehicle I wanted at a great price. But no, I did not get it from Burien Chevrolet. more

No BS dealer 2/16/2011

They do everything they say and don't fill you full of fluff, they don't sell you what you don't need. and will do everything in the power to save you the most money. They went out of there way and got me into a truck i wanted that was North East Montana, and still beat everyone prices. A+++ on this dealer more

I always go back 10/12/2010

Burien Chevy has been great since the new ownership of the Anderson Brothers. They also own Burien Toyota. They implemented the same buying process at the Chevy store as they have at the Toyota store. Also some of the employees from the other store were set up to take over the Chevy store. It seems to me that you can not make EVERYONE happy in life, but I have NEVER had a bad experiance. I will continue to buy my vehicles from this auto group. more

very helpful 9/7/2010

The sales people at Burien Chevrolet were very helpful in assisting us in finding just the right used car. They listened carefully to what we wanted/needed, and showed us just the right one. The salesman was not pushy, and gave us plenty of time to discuss it, and make a decision. They have been very good in taking care of the car, too. more

These guys were top flight. 9/1/2010

My wife and I went in looking for a used truck and met the manager Bobby who offered to let us drive his new silverado demo. My wife loved the look if this truck and it was loaded which I liked. I was worried about the price of such a fancy truck but he made us a great deal on Our trade and we drove his truck home. Great dealing and it was nice to have the head guy come out deal with us. I will recommend Bobby and Burien Chevy to all my friends. These guys were top flight. more

satisfied 8/17/2010

This is a review of only the service group. It's fairly detailed so I'll keep it in bite size chunks for the attention spans of us guys. What matters to me in auto service are quality, honesty and price. My first experience with the service department was an issue I had in a car that actually matters to me. (Sorry, I'm allergic to cats). I enjoy doing most of my own work when possible, but I am occasionally limited by the facilities available to me at home. I am VERY reluctant to have this car serviced by others so quality was a big concern. Since the car is past warranty, I was concerned about how much I was going to get hit for cost. Sure enough, on inspection, the problem turned out to be several problems. (What's up with that?!) It's not that I didn't trust them, I didn't even know them, but I asked if I could go out and personally see what else they had found. Much to my surprise, the savvy technician was willing to walk me out and actually show me in detail under the car what was found. Not only was I satisfied with the tour of my car's new-found problems but In the short time spent with the mechanic, I was not only impressed, but I was glad the problems were discovered. Left alone, fixing these problems would have cost considerably more later. But they DID NOT CHARGE BOOK PRICE on everything since they were already into certain areas. So in some cases only adding parts prices was necessary. Additional problems means additional time and they drove me home to West Seattle and picked me up again in a courtesy shuttle after they spent several days fixing the issues. It's a pretty good distance so this service carries significant value to me. When the job was done, I felt confident about the work and was satisfied with the price. Much to my surprise, I was told that all the repairs provided carried a 12-month warranty. I don't think that's too common with dealer repair shops. I've already been back twice for things I could have easily done myself but didn't want to take the time to mess more
