Panera doesn't charge to slice; Brueggers does 4/24/2010

Actually, wellitsme, they do slice them; they just charge extra. Bought half a dozen sliced bagels at Brueggers and half a dozen sliced bagels at Panera in the same day. Half a dozen SLICED bagels are considered ""prepared"" bagels and are $8.46, three dollars more than their NON-sliced. Half a dozen SLICED bagels at Panera = $5.89. Brueggers, get a slicing machine like Panera's. I'd only go to Panera's if it wasn't for the fact you were so close by and had one kind of bagel I like that Panera doesn't have (but Panera has plenty you don't have). Pros: bagels taste good Cons: charge extra to slice more

I also like the cinnamon sugar bagels and just had an egg and honey bagel recently mmm. Very good. Parking is really tight and the place is really small. But I take mine to go. Lately, I've been preferring Panera's bagels but they both complement each other. I will still go here. But one thing they don't have that Panera is a high speed slicer. Get one! Pros: love the cinnamon sugars Cons: slice the bagels! tight parking more

Wait is too long 2/2/2009

I find that people jump in front of me at Brueggers and they give small amounts of cream cheese on your small bagel. Guess I have been used to eating other places with larger bagels and more generous portions. I asked to have creme cheese put on both sides and they said they would have to charge me more. Lines can be out the door and if the servers are slow it is not good. Cons: Not enough to eat for the price more

As I said, the Cinnamon Sugar Bagels & Rio Grande Wraps are Delicious! And it's nice that there is SOMEWHERE you can go at 6 am on a Saturday or Sunday morning. 6 am is recommended because after that it gets really crowded. Sometimes they are friendly, sometimes they are so-so friendly - it is REALLY busy in there so you have to cut them a little slack if they make a mistake. Pros: Cinnamon Sugar Bagels & Rio Grande Wraps are Delicious! Cons: cramped parking lot more

A great place to hang out in the morning but I've got a serious concern. It seems that Bruegger's insists on customer's burning their hands on the coffee cups. They refuse to put the cup sleeves on the cup for you, refuse to put them on the counter where you pay and pick up the coffee and get mad at you if you bring the sleeves over to the counter so the next customer doesn't burn their hands.\r \r Common sense takes a serious holiday at this place. I don't know why they refuse to help out with this. It seems to be a really simple thing to fix but they absolutely will not consider it. The corporate office does not respond to this very simple request. more
