I came here on at the advice of my friend and finally got some botox for the deep lines across my forehead. Gosh, it really makes such a difference. The doctor was friendly and the staff is totally on the ball. Favorite treatments: photofacials for sunspots, filler for my sunken cheeks, and botox for my scowl line (not sure what the medical terminologyis). The microdermabrasions don't seem to get rid of my black heads as much as I had hoped. \r \r Favorite products: Latisse (for longer lashes), glycolic night cream (for smooth skin) and Elastiderm for around the eyes. \r \r Ok location, kinda older building near Alta Bates. I just read some of the reviews and it looks like people either love this woman or hate her. I love her. I have loved the results of everything she's done on me, especially filler. I believe the reviewers who say they felt rushed, but I have not experienced that at this office. In fact, the places I've been to before had really nice nurses but my filler and botox never looked all that good. I won't see anyone but Dr. Brozowki now for either of those treatments. The price of the filler is exactly what I paid before and the price of the botox is a little more---but I don't get the bruising or the occasional droopy lid like I used to at the other place. I also completed a series of underarm laser hair removal and after 6 sessions I am hair free. At the spa I used to go to, it was cheaper but it took 12 sessions for me to get rid of my bikini hair. Anyway, I would definitely recommend her. Pros: great results, nice staff Cons: no late or weekend appointments more

She is too rushed. I don't like being treated by a rushed person. I felt it was hart to talk to her because she is so fast paced and injections take less then a minute she is so quick. I think she charges ridiculous prices. She needs assistance so she can spend more time with her patients and get to know them better. I won't go to her again. A wonderful doctor! Great with esthetics (which I can't really say about a lot of other doctors that have been doing this for years), very effecient, a lovely person, incredibly competent, and a Yale medical graduate to boot. I get my botox, filler, laser hair removal, and spider vein treatments done with Dr. Brozowski. I think it may be a little pricier than places run by nurses and technicians, but I won't let anyone but a doctor touch me. I'd rather pay a few bucks more than have to worry about bad results... I cannot relate to the negative reviews at all. I've been seeing her for 4 years, and she's consistently friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and really knows her stuff. Also, her staff is extremely nice and helpful. I've tried quite a few doctors in town for botox and filler, and keep coming back to Dr. Brozowski because the results with her are outstanding. Dr. Brozowski performed a laser treatment for me without having read any of the paperwork I had filled out for her files. She had no knowledge of my history, which struck me as unprofessional. Her manner was unnecessarily brusque. It would have cost only 30 seconds of her time to extend enough courtesy to keep my business. She assumed that I would want another appointment with her, but I don't. I will find someone nicer and more professional going forward. Pros: Treatment OK Cons: Demonstrated arrogance more

Dr. Brozowski is VERY popular - for good reason, she' s the best cosmetic dermatologist in the east bay. I also think she has a 'berkeley approach' - meaning very natural (totally unlike the frozen glam-azons you see in L.A.). She had me looking more than 5 years younger in less than an hour, yet no one knows I've had any 'work done.' \r Dr. Brozowski charges the same as a plastic surgeon I was formerly seeing in the city, with better results. I appreciate her willingness to explain the treatment and answer my questions. Her staff is also very knowledgeable and really get to know you -- they treat me like an old friend each time I return. The only down-side is that it can take a while to get an appointment, as she is so booked, so you must plan ahead. I do not recommend Dr. Brozowksi.\r \r She did not keep her promise to refer me to a specialist for back and neck pain, but she did not forget to charge me for the referral. For most ailments she recommended acupuncture, specifically the acupuncturist she gives space to. I would like to know how much 'rent' the acupuncturist paid for all these referrals.\r \r She now sees cosmetic patients only (one of the most lucrative areas of medicine) and no longer conducts general practice, so all her general paitients (like myself) were struck off her list.\r \r When I called the office to ask that my records be forwarded to my new doctor, she wanted to charge me for that too!\r \r Howver, I do agree with the previous reviewers, she has a lovely staff. I read good reviews about Dr. Brozowski, so I decided to try her. Within moments of meeting her, I found that she was rude, arrogant, and condescending. She spent less than 10 minutes with me, did not provide satisfactory service (that is putting it lightly), and charged her regular (rather large) fee for it. She gave me a referral to a general surgeon who said I needed a different kind of specialist, and when I asked Dr. Brozowski for help again, she refused to help point me in the right direction. Luckily, I found a fantastic specialist at the advice of my friends. I'm just sorry I ever visited Dr. Brozowski. more

I had a great experience at Dr. Brozowski's office, and HIGHLY recommend her office for cosmetic dermatology services (botox, filler, laser). She closed her practice to medical patients a while ago. The office looks more like a spa than a doctor's office, and is always on time (big plus). Her staff is very helpful, and obviously have lots of respect for Dr. B.; they take the time to answer all of your questions and talk you through the process. more

I've had MANY good experiences with Dr. Brozowski and her office. Yes, it is true that she no longer sees medical patients, and some people posting on this site are obviously bitter about it. My sense is not that she does not like doing medical exams, but rather that she is pursuing her passion, which is aesthetics and artistry. She is the local expert on laser hair removal, and my botox and filler treatment has been very natural and made me look years younger. Her office staff is great, and everyone is very friendly and knows me personally.\r \r Pros: skin care, good parking Cons: not covered by insurance more

The Dr. is very well educated ( Yale), and well-traveled. Her staff is friendly and helpful. However, they are very popular, and so you must book ahead of time. Waiting until the last minute before you leave on a trip will get you in trouble! She also does cosmetic dermatology. more

I went for a ""first patient"" visit as my HMO had recommended and had 3 brief concerns to discuss. She said ""Pick 2, we don't have time for 3."" I'm only glad my third concern did not end up being serious. On another visit, doctor indicated that she disliked doing pap smears. Very unprofessional and arrogant to boot. more
