Wide variety of pets and supplies but very unfriendly staff - Just mad at the world it seems. Only way to survive your visit is to know what you need, get it, pay for it and leave. Don't say hi, bye, goodmorning, offer eye contact or ask questions. They do not want to be bothered. The whole place reeks of nicotine. Grubby, dirty shabby looking employees who look like they just rolled out of bed, unwashed and just came in to work. Same goes for the store. Spend a lot, spend a little, you are all the same to them - nothing but an annoyance and they just wish you to get what the heck you came in to get and get the bleep out of their store. That is the attitude that comes across. Sad looking dogs and cat. Cat or kitten just sat there with a blank stare in its face. Sad because with the variety they offer, this could be a really nice pet store, and a pleasant choice from the big chain retail stores...but sadly they are not. When the two brothers actually owned it, it was a lot nicer. more

We bought 6 fish (for our young children) at this place. We now have 3 fish and it has only been 2 weeks! more

Brothers Pets is known for having dead fish, but after I went yesterday it was a new low. In their cages for hamsters there was a decaying hamster in a tiny cage with two other hamsters (living with the one decaying hamster). There were bones showing on this rotting hamster. Employees just walked by it like it was alive,didn't care. It was very disturbing and disgusting. I went to start my 50 gallon tank up, but after i saw that I walked out and i will NEVER go back. They may have been open for years and years but there is never a reason to let animals live in a tiny space with a decaying animal. Pros: they only care about fish Cons: dirty tanks, stuffed cages, poorly treated animals more

I have 2 new aquariums a 55 gallon and 90 gallon tanks that I took over from friends. So I was looking for Local Fish in the area. So I've gone to Brothers Pets 10 times now and I'm finally over it. Its not like I had one bad experence I've had 8 out of 10 bad ones. Pros: New add on is good Cons: outrageous prices, white trash employees and rude more

I've too Brothers twice and both times all the fish I purchased died within a few days while fish I've purchased other places did not. more

I work at an animal hospital near Brothers Pets, where I client of ours recently bought a kitten. He brought his new feline friend in and it had about 16 syringes full of fluid surrounding its lungs, caused by feline leukemia which the kitten tested positive for. This disease is highly contageous and is spread on contact, so more than likely the other kittens at Brothers are sick now as well. A good store would test for this before purchasing animals from a breeder or selling animals to customers. Pros: NOTHING Cons: SICK ANIMALS more
