You will not find a better pharmacy than Briar Grove! They are able to get hard to find medications and the people that work there actually care about the patients that go there. They are knowledgable and will go out of their way to make sure your every need is met. You are wasting your time if you go anywhere else!!!!!!!! more

It's okay Mina, they turned me down also...but it was because apparently they check control records and caught me going to too many different doctors for my pain medicine. more

I went here for the first and last time I will ever darken this establishments doors! I normally go to Kroger pharmacy where they at least treat you like a human being! The only reason I was not using Kroger?s as they were out of my medication and would not have it in till Wednesday and as I suffer chronic pain amongst many other things including blood clots ie DVTs I depend on getting my medicine right then and there! But in the hope that this pharmacy might have it and Kroger?s had said why don?t you try Briargrove I went in there went to the pharmacist she handed it over to a guy who immediately started laughing at the prescription and me! Which I have never had happen to me! So if you want to be treated like a decent individual you will go to Kroger?s Cvs HEB anything but Briargrove Pharmacy! I have never been laughed at! And I have never had my prescription refused! It came from a DR thank God it was not my prescription for Coumadin then I would be clotting! But they could have just said we will not fill it, they did not have to laugh at me and mock my pain! So as it stands I would now rather wait till Kroger gets there meds in and be in horrific pain then deal with these uncaring creatures! I can?t even call them people because they are not people! Be warned go to a chain! At least CVS wont laugh at you for hurting! more

I have been coming to this pharmacy for 5 years and they have gone beyond my expectations again and again. The pharmacist that they have there are more than knowledgeable than many of the ones that I have encounter at any Wallgreen's, CVS, Krogers or Costo's combinded. more

\r \r After 2 years of going to this pharmacy I am switching to Wallgreens, Randalls, Costco heck anybody else but Briargrove pharmacy. It took me 2 years to realize they don't know what they are doing. I thought because they all had on white coats and are up high on a platform they knew their business. They have made mistakes with medicine, insurance, co pays you name it. I'm not even sure the people that work there are even pharmacists.\r \r Even if you call in 2 days ahead of time for a refill it won't be there when you show up. You will sit there behind every old timer from Tanglewood all disgruntled wondering where their medicine is. \r \r On a weekend I had a Rx filled and that night I noticed there was only a couple of teaspoons of liquid in the bottle. The next Monday the ""pharmacist"" said that I needed a new prescription. Couldn't she have told me that on Saturday? It was seizure medicine for my disabled son for gosh sakes it was kind of important. What if I had thrown the bottle in a bag and left town without checking it? Was I supposed to read her mind? \r \r In addition I insisted from the beginning that I had a secondary payer in addition to my private insurance and they assured me I didn't, just give us your credit card please. I finally pushed it and it turns out I do have a secondary payer to cover whatever the first payer won't. This had been in their computer the entire time I have been going hundreds of dollars in wasted co pays to them. David the owner shrugged it off and came up with a bunch of weak blah blah. I was really hoping he would make it right but he didn't. He is a small business owner and the buck stops with him. If it had been Wallgreens I could have gone up the chain. That is why I don't shop at boutiques or small business owners.\r \r The pharmacy does carry some hard to find things like food thickener etc, weight gain powder that I use for my son etc. But most of it is just tacky junk. Wallgreens drive thru here I come. more

GREAT PLACE TO RX AND SHOP AND BROWSE 12/14/2011

I'm not sure what the negative reviews are about, but I'm certain they are isolated incidents. I've been going to Briar Grove Pharmacy for the last 4 years, and filled many an Rx, and NEVER had an issue. The pharmacists are awesome and extremely knowledgeable. The selection of their knick-knacks, make-up, toys and general health items is second to none. The USPS office in the back is an added bonus. Don't listen to the negative reviews... These guts are a life saver, and a great locally owned business (non chain). Keep up the good work guys! more

I go to Briargrove once a month for medication for one prescription. Twice my medication has been short 2 pills. Five times my medication has been short 1 pill. And one time I was given one pill extra. That's short 9 pills and 1 pill extra for a short total of 8 pills. The other times (about 6 times) the count was correct. The only thing you can do is remember to have them give you a double count when you pick your medicine up before you leave. What else can you do? more

Has really gone downhill 1/9/2008

This was my favorite Rx a few months back, but not lately. They can't seem to get anything right. When you go to pick up an Rx you called in, it's not ready. You stand there with a group of disgruntled customers and all complain. A few weeks ago, I just gave up and went home and asked they deliver it. Not only didn't they that day, but I had to call back and then was doubled billed on my credit card. Something else I had to deal with. The latest was I picked up an Rx that says 4 pills a day. It's a 30 day one, but only had 60 pills. After 2 visits and over an hour and a half of my time being wasted, I will be taking my business back to one of the local chains. It's the end of an era. I suppose. What a shame. Pros: It's family run, and they deliver. Cons: They charge to deliver and have gotten very inefficient. more
